Casa Batsu Charming Bnb

My family of 4 had a wonderful stay at Casa Batsu. Carlos and his son, Danny, were helpful in every way. Carlos was so pleasant to talk with and went out of his way to make our stay so memorable. The grounds at Casa Batsu are immaculately keep and just lovely to look at during breakfast on the open-air patio. The breakfast was the best we had during our time in Costa Rica. We visited 3 parts of Costa Rica, and 3 different hotels. Casa Batsu was our favorite.

Our family recently stayed at this charming Bed and Breakfast. It was simply lovely. The small family-operated lodging is beautifully decorated, comfortable, and in an excellent location for exploring Monteverde. The owner, Carlos, answered our questions, helped us with our cloud forest tour arrangements, and catered to our every need. The breakfasts were incredible, both visually enticing and delicious. Thank you, Carlos, for making our visit so memorable.

My wife and I absolutely loved our two night stay at Casa Batsu. Like the other 500 five-star reviewers before us, we found every aspect of this Bed and Breakfast to be delightful and exceptional. Our room was impeccably clean and nicely furnished and the rest of the grounds and dining areas were just as comfortable and immaculate. Carlos, his wife and the rest of the staff are all exceptionally warm, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a gourmet delight as everyone before me has testified. We were pleasantly surprised to discover that a multi-course dinner is also available nightly for an additional cost which was outstanding and worth every extra penny. In fact, it was the best dinner we had in our two and a half weeks in Costa Rica. Casa Batsu is as wonderful as others have said. We highly recommend staying here. Make a reservation as soon as you know you'll be in the Monteverde area. You won't regret it!

We loved Casa Batsu. Carlos is beyond amazing. So helpful, friendly, and kind. The tips he gave us to enjoy the area was spot on. The room was lovely and very comfortable. The grounds are very well maintained and attract interesting birds. The breakfast was AMAZING. Favorite place in Costa Rica!

This was the best place we stayed in Costa Rica. It's absolutely perfect. It's right outside of Santa Elena and Monteverde. A 5 minute drive at most to get to either town. It might be a little far to walk, but definitely easy in the car. He has plenty of parking near the front of the property. When we arrived, the owner, Carlos, provided us with welcome fruit smoothies and gave us a little tour of his bnb, and it's charming and clean. We were in the Los Perezosos room with our two adult children - we all fit just fine on the two comfortable queen beds. The room was immaculate and the bathroom was large and had lots of hot water, plush towels, and nice toiletries. They even provide robes. Every morning Carlos fixed us a beautiful, fresh and delicious breakfast, accompanied by amazing Costa Rican coffee and smoothies. He and his staff put their fruit rinds on a tree in his garden, and it attracts all sorts of gorgeous birds that provide a fun and interesting show while you're eating on the covered patio. I absolutely would recommend this property - you won't be disappointed. So clean, so kind, so beautiful. Thank you Carlos, for allowing us to stay with you and your wife at your perfect bnb.
