Very nice secluded area with great views and some nice hiking trails. Cabin was very clean and plenty of space for a family of four.

The lodge is set on a beautiful coffee plantation. The lodge was spacious, clean and surrounded by nature. The fresh coffee in the room was delicious.

Very nice family owned property with cabins in good condition and breakfast included. They don’t push for tours and you are free to choose your own tour company. There were bugs in the bedrooms and on the bed which we had to clear but that is expected in a eco resort in the mountains surrounded by woods.
The bathroom was very spacious and nice. Only issue was the hot and cold water was not mixing well and only producing luke warm water

What a place! The first thing you need to know is that the lodge is family-run, and they are fully dedicated to satisfying their guests. The lodge is a group of cabins situated around a coffee plantation. Ours was immaculate, and included a beautiful motmot (look it up) that greeted us every morning. There's a great hiking trail on the property which includes a bird-watching station - we saw toco and emerald toucans among other birds. Breakfast was outstanding. And our genial hosts even made multiple calls for us to clear up some uncertainties we had about a tour we'd booked. Can't say enough good things about Tityra Lodge.

Schönes Haus, gut ausgestattet, vom Motmot am Morgen geweckt, Tucane aus nächster Nähe. Ein toller Aussichtspunkt mit Blick bis zur Nicoya Halbinsel. Frühstück sehr gut, Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit. Gut gelegen für Ausflüge zum Monteverde Nationalpark und Canopy Touren
