Clean motel, a bit dated for those looking for a bit more. 24-hour coffee/tea/chocolate station near reception. Small double bed. Ideal for a one-night stopover in Monterey.

Very convenient to drive or walk to downtown Monterey and easy to find location. Check in was easy and staff had helpful advice for places to eat. Room was clean and quiet. (Too chilly to use pool.) No breakfast but had coffee. Underground parking available. Good value.

We had a wonderful stay at this charming 3-story hotel in Monterey! The location is absolutely perfect—just a short walk to downtown and Fisherman’s Wharf, with plenty of restaurants, bars, and even a gas station nearby for convenience. Our room was both spacious and cozy, spotlessly clean, and thoughtfully equipped with a fridge, coffee maker, air conditioning, and a very comfortable bed. We especially appreciated the quiet—despite being near the road, we never heard any traffic noise (perhaps thanks to being on the third floor..?). The staff were lovely—warm, helpful, and full of great local tips. Parking was easy, with options both outside and in the underground garage. Free coffee by the reception was a nice touch in the mornings. We truly enjoyed our stay and only wish we had booked a few more nights. Highly recommended!
