The room is very big. It felt a bit hot when I first entered. It would be better if I opened the window. The room faced the street but wasn't too noisy. The service was really good. We put the room card and mobile phone together and the room card was demagnetized. The waiter took the initiative to help us remagnetize it and patiently taught us how to use the coffee machine. It felt very warm.

I booked this hotel for my driver. I stayed for one night on Highway 1 on the side of the highway. I stayed here. The facilities and environment are worthy of the price. You can park for free.

#positive #I was happy with the Natural Light in the Room, Hotel Smell; The hotel is next to the highway, quite simple, but fortunately the windows are not facing the highway. The air conditioning in the room is a bit noisy. I usually drive by and stay here. It takes more than 10 minutes to drive from Carmel Town.

This was an economical stay in the area, but you get what you pay for. Good: It was clean, location was good, had coffee in room. Bad: Non-working outlets on bedside lamp. When we asked for another lamp they said didn't have one. They should have extra things like these for guests when things break, this was annoying. The walls are thin; both nights we were bothered by the tv next door. The other annoying thing was no ice in the morning we checked out. Really, before 8am no ice? Ice is important for travelers. All these things left a poor impression on our stay here.

I always travel as economically as possible and have stayed at plenty of Super 8 motels. This one is a gem! The rooms have been tastefully remodeled, everything works, the bathroom is shiny and clean and no musty, “old motel” smell! If you’re traveling near Monterey and need a place to stay, this is a winner!
