Nothing to complain about the room, it’s roomy and comfortable, nice bed, very clean

We were very pleasantly surprised, as some of the reviews I read were negative when I booked. However, we experienced none of the issues mentioned in those reviews. Check-in/out was easy. my reservation was found and correct. All staff interactions were pleasant, professional, helpful, and courteous. The room was very clean and comfortable. Bathroom was small but clean, well-lighted, and everything worked well. Only complaint was that there could be an additional grab bar in the tub/shower, as the one that existed was essentially behind the shower curtain, but otherwise the bathroom was fine. Appreciated the free parking and wifi, no issues with either availability. Location is great, within easy driving distance of the usual tourist attractions in Monterey. Definitely appreciated the microwave and fridge, which was larger than most mini-fridges found in much more expensive properties. The TV channel selection was much better than the San Francisco Marriott Marquis, which we stayed at just prior to this visit. Heat and A/C worked fine, and we used both during our stay. Really have nothing negative to report, would definitely stay there again if ever in Monterey, and definitely recommend it.
