Got home today. Will start with the cons: Reception team. Rude and unhelpful. Don't speak English. So not any help and check in was actually a nightmare. The sales people dont leave you alone all week trying to sell you every trip or piece of jewellery under the sun. Even when you are trying to relax sunbathing. You just want to be left in peace. The food was pretty poor and repetitive. The locals pile up there plates with about 50 different items breakfast, lunch and dinner. I couldn't believe my eyes. Local tourists did not know what a que was or spacial awareness whilst at the buffet. No manners atall. Got to the point I would just eat pasta to get out of there quickly. The water park on the other side was good apart from the slippery floor was a death trap. Saw so many slip over and injure themselves. Our room was very outdated and absolutely nothing like the pictures advertised. It was like a boarding school dormantry. The beds were rock hard. The air con was crap. The tv didnt work. The bathroom was horrible and the toilet leaked over the floor twice. They need to modernise alot of bits in this hotel. As nothing atall like what they show you online. I havent slept in a week as so noisy at night and having a poorly tummy from the buffet food. Pros The pools were fun for the kids. They loved them. The entertainment staff are great and really do want people to have fun. The bar men and waiters really do work hard and are really friendly. It was a nice holiday. For those reasons. But the hotel really needs to start listening to the reviews of there customers. But they wont because they know the local tourists will always go there. I did love tunisia but would definitely have to go 5 star next time. I wouldn't rate the hotel as a 3 star as alot of it was dated and dirty. But we did have fun days round the pool and time together. Happy to be back in my own bed tonight and not sleeping on a rock.

The worst hotel I have ever stayed at. Don't make the same mistake we did. My wife and I booked this all-inclusive resort despite reading plenty of alarming reviews online. Our travel agent insisted the place had been recently renovated and that the complaints were exaggerated. In reality, this turned out to be the worst holiday of my life. First of all, the hotel is extremely old and completely outdated — it feels like stepping into the Soviet 1980s. Everything is falling apart: cracked walls, chipped furniture, broken locks, malfunctioning plumbing. The so-called “renovation” only happened in one building, where they repainted the walls and swapped out a few pieces of furniture. The rest of the complex is run-down and in poor condition. The air conditioning units are old ceiling-mounted systems that barely cool the room. In our first room, it blew warm air. There was no hairdryer, no slippers, no iron, no safe — not even a bin for small rubbish. Wi-Fi is only available within 10 meters of the reception desk — there is no internet access in the rooms at all. When checking in, I gave the receptionist £10 in hopes of getting a quieter room away from the disco. Instead, I was placed right next to it, where the music blared until late at night. I had to pay again to switch rooms, and even then, the new room had problems: a blocked sink, broken toilet flush, and a damp smell. Staff attempted to charge me twice more for the room change. No one warned us about the tourist tax, and we were charged €50 on arrival for ten nights for two people. The buildings are extremely noisy. There's no soundproofing — you can hear everything. Many guests were locals or from neighboring countries. They were loud, slammed doors, smoked in the hallways, left trash behind, and showed no concern for other guests. Children ran through the halls screaming, knocking on doors, or watching cartoons with the door wide open and the volume at max — even at 2 AM. You can’t sleep at night or rest in the morning. Most of the hotel staff don’t speak English or Russian, so solving any issue is almost impossible. Staff are unfriendly, often rude, and act annoyed when asked for help. Locals are openly prioritized in the buffet — they’re served more food than Western guests. When you ask for the same portion, they give you a nasty look. One hotel vendor sells “engraved” bracelets, but it’s a scam — he just scratches your name onto the leather unevenly. The result looks cheap and messy. “All Inclusive” here is a joke. The free bar serves only low-quality local alcohol. Cocktails are made with sugary, generic soft drinks and poor spirits. No real Coke or Sprite, no fresh fruits, no proper mixers. Good alcohol is only available at the paid bar — and at London-level prices. The food is heavy, greasy, repetitive, and causes stomach issues. Breakfasts are especially bad — dry, cold, and tasteless. The buffet is chaotic: long queues for coffee, sweets, and drinks; forks, spoons, and napkins

Please be careful booking this hotel. The photos are not of the rooms you get , we were given a very very poor, old (probably not updated since the 70s/80s) room with no air-con This room was in poor condition upon arrival and exceedingly basic (not the pictured room at all!!) - when we complained we were told that we needed to pay €100 in cash to the reception staff (two women) in order to ‘upgrade’ to a room with working aircon - we negotiated this down to £60 in the end but were forced to pay - not having air-con is not an option it was blisteringly hot 24:7. The room we ended up with was old, the toilet fell off the wall and flooded our room with sewage, the shower taps were hanging off the wall, the sink was blocked for 80% of our stay so we had to brush our teeth and wash our hands over the bath! On top of this we returned to our room on day 4 to find that someone had covered our hairbrush in faeces and items were missing - we had to throw away anything that may have been contaminated and buy new- we subsequently locked our belongings into a suitcase moving forward Obviously I complained about all of the above during our stay - they fixed the toilet - but didn’t care about anything else, not even the hairbrush incident- they looked at me as if it was a normal occurrence ! Additionally - this is not really all inclusive - there are multiple snack stands around the hotel all of which require payment - if you are going with children be warned that they will be pestering you to buy from these stands as there are no tasty treats like these available for free. The hotel also allows pushy salesman to wander around the pool area trying to get you to spend your money - you will bat at least 4/5 of these guys away every single day of your holiday However - the pool area was lovely - and sub beds was in good supply (thank goodness)
