Maistra Select Astarea Hotel

Fabulous sea views Awesome hotel. The room had amazing ssa views. Buffet brekkie and dinner was superb. Close to old town and airport. Will definitely book her again

Have just returned from 10 day break. Hotel in a beautiful setting. Beside the ferry to go on island trips or to Dubrovnik. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. All areas of the hotel were spotlessly clean. We had breakfast included in our stay and had everything you could want. I also celebrated my birthday while there and had champagne and cake delivered to our room at no charge. So Thank You. We will definitely be back.

The rooms were to small and lack storage space , no drawers for underwear etc and could do with soft close doors, people letting them slam shut .That is the only negative . Great location and hotel pools first class.

Great hotel, great sea view from superior room. Very clean, lovely staff. Not suitable for children/teenagers as no beach or entertainment. Only local visits from cheap boats to Dubrovnik and other bays. However the hot food offered was always cold and desserts the same square of cake every day. We had to go other establishments to get a decent meal which, having paid for dinner, was an expense we weren't expecting. The worst problem was that the towels, bathrobe and cupboards smelt very strongly of "others' body odour". I didn't realise for a few days and, on return home, I have had to wash clothes I didn't even use. Not pleasant. Would love to go back to Croatia but not to Hotel Asterea.

I was on a eight day holiday with Newmarket holidays to Dubrovnik, Montenegro & the Dalmatian coast, we stayed four nights at the Hotel Astarea, the hotel is in the coastal area of Mlini with stunning views over the Adriatic Sea, beautiful coastline and the weather much warmer here, hotel is very modern with lots of facilities something for everyone to do, you can walk along the shoreline to bars and restaurants, shopping centre and book boat trips or just sit and relax. I had a lovely comfortable room with balcony and everything I needed for my stay including tea and coffee making facilities, excellent housekeeping throughout the hotel, staff friendly and helpful, breakfast and evening meal was served in a spacious dining room buffet style food was delicious so much choice and water was served with your meal. Our guide Evan gave us lots of information and looked after us along with our coach drivers who did an excellent job of driving us around, from this hotel we visited Mostar, Dubrovnik, Bay of Kotor and Montenegro. I thoroughly enjoyed the excursions plenty of information from local guides and free time was just right to look around the areas yourself, perfect itinerary. We also had the pleasure of Tom and Justin the film crew who came along to video our holiday experience for Newmarket holidays. I met up with some lovely fellow travellers on the coach who made my holiday extra special, definitely recommend this holiday to Croatia
