Obokekyo Mannaka

I went there a while ago and I always forgot to give a bad review to the front desk staff. The uncle named Miyamoto at the front desk was very annoying. The reason was that when we checked in on the first night, we arrived late because we were not familiar with the road conditions. Then we just missed dinner. It was just past the time and they didn’t leave any food for us. Of course, this was our problem. Then the uncle said that the meal money could not be refunded, and we should call in advance if we couldn’t arrive on time next time. Well, we estimated that we would be late the next day, so we called him 4 hours in advance to inform him. The call was made by a friend who was fluent in Japanese. Then the uncle said very impolitely that he couldn’t leave us a table, and he didn’t say a word of honorific during the whole conversation, which surprised us and thought we offended him. I asked many local Japanese friends, and they all said that the front desk behavior was very rude. Then when we returned to the hotel, he was still so arrogant, and angrily accused him in English, and then immediately changed his face and began to apologize. Really, this change in attitude made us feel that this person was even more annoying. But to be honest, the environment of the hotel itself is pretty good in the surrounding area, but the service attitude is hard to describe.

It's very convenient. We drove here. It's also very close if we take JR. I believe you can get to the hotel within 1,000 yen. However, the hot spring is not very big and there are no sauna rooms open.

The hotel staff are very friendly and often provide help and travel advice. There are flags of check-in passengers at the front desk, which makes you feel very welcome. The room size is similar to that of an average Japanese hotel. The hot spring area is spacious and has an open-air area.

We loved our stay. The welcome was very warm, and our room was spacious and very well equipped with everything you need to pamper yourself and feel good. The onsen is very beautiful, really well stocked, and it is pleasant to relax there, especially the one outdoors. We particularly liked the way customers were taken care of and how they made sure we had everything we needed. As we were traveling by train, took advantage of the shuttle service, had the opportunity to leave our luggage before check-in time, and most importantly, we were very kindly taken to the nearest ATM when we mentioned that we had no more cash. The meals are truly excellent, and the service courteous.
