This is a historic hotel and felt a bit old, but the bathroom and toilet were new and we had a very comfortable stay.
We went to the Chinese restaurant in the basement with our children, which was also very comfortable, the food was delicious and we had a wonderful time.
I'd like to visit again when I stay in Mito.

ビジネス会議、懇親会会場として利用です。水戸駅北口から徒歩数分の近距離にあるホテルです。多少古さはあるが、サービスや、会場施設、スタッフはとても丁寧できちんとしていてとても好感が持てます。老舗ならではなの安定感です。懇親会の食事、お酒の配膳も丁寧でとても良いです。又利用したいと思える安定のホテルさんです。

We stayed three nights in a king room. Staff were friendly and helpful and English was understood and spoken. The room was of a good size, the bed comfortable and the bathroom functional. Internet was fast and free. Breakfast was a mix of some western and japanese dishes. No fresh fruit, but yoghurt was available. All in all a satisfying experience. The hotel was within walking distance of the major sites. Would stay here again.

We stayed as a couple. We have stayed at this hotel several times, and the accommodation plan that includes a Chinese course meal is wonderful. The food was luxurious and delicious, including braised shark fin, Hitachi beef steak, and salt-braised abalone, and I wondered if it was really worth the price. As someone from Mito, I am proud of this hotel. I will continue to use it again in the future.

建物自体は多少古さがあるかもしれないが、結婚式ができるホテルとあって手抜きはしていない。 部屋は広く、ソファもありゆったりとできる。ユニットバスは入れ替えたらしく綺麗。 一つだけ残念なのが枕元にコンセントが見当たらなかったこと。 立地は水戸駅から5分以内だが、最後の坂が急なのでキャリーを持っていたら不便。ここより駅に近いホテルは他にもある。 以前は駐車場無料だったようだが、今は一泊500円。ただホテル裏に広々とした平置きの駐車場(屋根なし)で出入りは何度でも自由(入庫する度にフロントに駐車券を渡して手続きしてもらうスタイル)なのは助かる。 観光地の弘道館はすぐ裏手にあり、1～2時間の空き時間で見れるのでお勧め。
