From the verandah in front of your room, you can watch the waves the whole day, there is no need to go to any of the beaches in Mirissa. Breakfast was delicious too, and they even cooked the fish we caught (for a fee). However, don't expect the same creature comforts of an international 4 or 5 star hotel despite being priced higher.
