Really lovely stay at Flora and Fauna. Excellent location close to the beach, free parking for our rented tuktuk and kind staff members. We saw water monitor lizards right next to the hotel, so crazy!

This has been by far our worst stay experience in our entire sri lanka trip!!! The hosts were extremely rude and the manager was even worse they have terrible communication skills or understanding of what we are asking them. We went for whale watching and by the time we returned they were ready to throw our luggages out without even giving us a phone call. How can they touch our personal belongings without our permission!!when we requested them to give us a call before they move our belongings out, the lady at the desk and the manager asked us to GET OUT and threatened us by saying this is their country and their police and they can call the police on us if we question them. After all the negative reviews they have gotten till now all on the same lines they still seem to have not changed one bit. NEVER EVER EVER BOOK WITH THEM/RECOMMEND THEM!!!!

Room was fine
Really nice and clean room but everything else where terrible, dirty and very old. The staff was laying in the few chairs and there were no place else to sit, not even in the small garden. We wantet a quiet vaccation but it was noicy from the mainstreet in front. We decided to leave again after 2 nights even we already paid for more.

I had an amazing view from the room. The rooms are clean and comfortable. You can reach the beach by walking across the street. Everything is in the near. I can recommend this place. The guys who worked there were very friendly and helpful. If you have any questions just ask them.

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt im Flora and Fauna in Mirissa. Das Essen war stets hervorragend und abwechslungsreich – jeden Tag gab es etwas Neues und Leckeres. Die Zimmer waren immer sauber und gut gepflegt. Besonders positiv ist die Nähe zum Meer – man muss nur die Straße überqueren, und schon ist man am Strand. Die Unterkunft bietet eine tolle Auswahl an Aktivitäten, die direkt vor Ort gebucht werden können, wie Walbeobachtung, Schnorcheln mit Schildkröten, Angeltouren, Nationalpark-Safaris (wie Yala oder Udawalawe), Krokodil-Beobachtungen und vieles mehr. Es gibt also keine Langeweile, und die Organisation der Ausflüge war immer sehr unkompliziert. Das Anwesen selbst ist wunderschön angelegt, mit vielen Palmen und exotischen Pflanzen, die eine angenehme und entspannte Atmosphäre schaffen. Es ist der perfekte Ort, um sich zu erholen. Wir können die Unterkunft nur empfehlen und würden definitiv wiederkommen!

Terrible. It was a building site when we arrived. Of course, a renovation is good, but then choose to close the hotel temporarily. The restaurant was closed. According to our guide, we were also the only guests at that time. The owner was lying nonchalantly leaning back in a chair next to the reception and made no effort to welcome us. He didn't care. He let the other employees do the work. They did their best and we are sorry for them that we had to cancel. We are going to try to get our money back through our travel agent.

Extremely rude and arrogant management who really doesn't care about the guests. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE. Quite disappointed with their attitude towards the guests. They should leave this place to a professional team as simply they don't know how to treat a guest respectfully.
