Absolutely fantastic. Beautiful rooms. Well equipped. Right by the river. Very quiet yet very near the centre of town. Service amazing. Owned by a local family. Sabied the father and Antony the son are fabulous bird watching guides. They know the area like the back of their hand. Patience. Knowledgable. I saw amazing birds.

We had a good experience at La Casa de Cecilia. The staff provided excellent service, even putting us in a nicer room than what we had originally booked because it was available. The location just off the main square is convenient yet insulated from the noise of town. The campus is set up as several distinct buildings each with multiple rooms. They are connected by short, easily traversed walking paths. Breakfast is very tasty, but not included. It is reasonably priced and you can eat it facing the river that flows through the property.

Lindo Mindo
Amazing place, great staff, and superb setting! The economy rooms are a bit small, especially the bathroom, but the bed was great and lots of windows. They arranged everything for us at a better rate than we could get. So much to do here, we stayed 4 extra days! Highly recommend!

I recently stayed at Casa de Cecilia in Mindo, Ecuador, and it was wonderful. The place is incredibly peaceful and beautiful. Sitting by the river that runs through the property was a highlight—I loved listening to the water and watching the birds in the garden. The staff were super friendly and made me feel right at home. It’s a hidden gem, perfect for relaxing and enjoying nature.

Very nice guesthouse in fantastic location just steps from Mindo center. The communication with hotel was excellent, they were very responsive. Antony organized a car to pick us up from Quito and later to take us to Otavalo for a very good price. The car was large and comfortable. The staff was friendly, bed comfortable. The room was a bit basic for my taste, but the guesthouse has a nice vibe and for the location it is a great deal!
