Kurokawaso is located on the west side of Kurokawa Hot Spring, close to the stream. The entrance to the hotel is on the national highway and is not on the hot spring street. I took a slight detour when looking for it. The hotel is in a very traditional Japanese style, retro. But it's not old-fashioned, and the private hot spring next to the stream is a great experience. The details of the hotel are very good. We provide toiletries and skin care products according to our gender during check-in. The catering is also top-notch these days. Both the quality and the speed of food delivery are perfect and impeccable.

Dinner was served in the room, with many varieties and a good dining experience. The hotel provided thoughtful service. We contacted the hotel in advance to request a pick-up service from the bus station. I don't know how to comment. I can only say that I chose the wrong season to go there because the entire Kurokawa Onsen is in the valley (really deep in the mountains and old forests). The hotel is generally OK. I think the hot springs are very good and the food is also very delicious. However, the room facilities are really old, resulting in a lot of insects in the early summer nights. Two centipedes measuring 15 cm long ran in at night. Because it is a tatami room, I was so scared that I couldn't sleep all night. I was always worried that there would be insects. Halfway from the hotel to the town, two super big 🐍 ran out. Fortunately, I met a villager who helped drive them away. The fright index is 5 stars. It is still recommended to book a room in the main building of the hotel and choose to go in winter. The hotel's hot spring bath is very good. The water quality of Kurokawa is really amazing.
