It takes 1 hour and 10 minutes from Tokyo Station to Kamikogogen Station. Book the hotel shuffle bus in advance and it will take 45 minutes to get to the hotel. Great location! Free shuttle service to Jomo Plateau, only one hour by Shinkansen from Tokyo to Jomo Plateau! Wonderful winter scenery!! A snowy wonderland. Because it is an old hot spring with a long history, the old building I stayed in had no elevator or bathroom, but the room was right by the river and it was super beautiful! It was no problem to go to the public indoor bath in the hot spring hotel. Ctrip is really amazing, there was no room on the official website, but Ctrip had it and it was cheap
