It's a bathing place, but there is no shower room in the room, so you have to go to the public bath to take a bath. Nice staff. Good room. Location is a bit far from things but good for quiet environment. Driving is a must. The food, good but not as good as some other places we were in before. Recommend to try especially if in the area.

2022年4月にけんみん割が拡大された機会で宿泊しました。宿の名のとおり川のせせらぎの音が絶えないお宿。温泉は無色透明のキラキラつるつる系。源泉を豊富に抱えているとのことでどの浴場の注ぎ口も飲泉可能とのこと。母屋の男女別の大浴場と離れの混浴露天があり、混浴露天は母屋の風呂とはつながっていません。お湯が完全に透明なので、男女混浴のハードルは高め。ただし脱衣所は男女別にありますし、湯あみ着も売店にあります。 夕食は赤身牛を石板の上で焼くステーキをメインにした懐石。仲居さんが外国の方なのですが、一生懸命料理の説明をしてくれる。異国の地の頑張りように頭が下がります。小夜食に稲荷ずしが部屋に用意されるのですが、これがわさびの茎を混ぜ込んだ大人の味。朝食も予約時間ぴったりに行くとだし巻き*がまだきちんと温かいもの。細かいところに気配りが行き届いていました。こちらのお宿の庭には桜がたくさん植えられていますが、今回はちょうど満開の桜が風に煽られると桜吹雪になる実に風雅なタイミングでした。

Our first stay at a traditional onsen ryokan, and we will be returning for sure. The place is painfully beautiful, and the entire staff was friendly and helpful. Food was plentiful and delicious, with some dishes completely new to us and a joy to discover. We all felt blessed and grateful for this experience, and we were all sad to leave. Already looking forward to a trip in the fall to see the autumn colors in this place!
