We used it on a tour to OZE. From the hotel to OZE to the OZE to the OZE to the hotel microbus I was able to go in time and was very convenient. The room was available for two people in the triple room and was relaxing. This room was located at the end of the building, with a front glass on one side, and the new green from the window was very clean. The room facilities were well equipped and sufficiently satisfied. The meal was dinner, breakfast and Viking, and many kinds were delicious. Dinner was delicious with tempura of mountain vegetables. The breakfast was delicious with bread.

Takaragawa Onsen exceeded all expectations. Upon arriving at Jomokogen station, a friendly driver meets you with a sign and drives you comfortably for 25 km. You need to register in advance by sending an email to the hotel. Upon entering, you immediately feel transported to the past: you leave your shoes, choose a yukata robe with an obi, receive socks and special bathing attire, and proceed to your room in a traditional Japanese style (I highly recommend this to fully experience the atmosphere of the place). When you enter the room, you will likely experience a shock, as it feels like you've stepped into an old movie. I recommend a room with a small balcony in the Main building overlooking the river. Check-in is around 3 PM. You can change and head straight to the hot springs. Yes, everyone has been to saunas, steam rooms, and hammams, but the onsen is unlike anything else. It's impossible to convey the emotions. The combination of hot, clear water, pure air, surrounding nature, the rushing river, the play of light on the leaves, the scents, and the silence offers something new and unique. There are three public baths on the premises and one exclusively for women. After bathing, head to the restaurant for dinner, featuring local dishes. I recommend ordering both dinner and breakfast in advance. The food is very delicious and unique. You will sleep on futons, which will be carefully laid out for you while you have dinner. It’s a wonderful experience, and you'll sleep as lightly as a child. I would love to return here to experience that happiness again. One day was not enough.

[Location] It's easy because there is a shuttle bus from Minakami Station. 【service】 He is very polite and looks at our customers. (If you accidentally dropped the ingredients during the breakfast buffet, an employee at a distance told me ”I'm OK as it is.”) [Cleanliness] I thought the exterior was a bit rough (the exterior of the lobby was beautiful), but the interior was very beautiful. Surprisingly beautiful. [Facilities and amenities] ・ You can drink coffee and apple juice freely in the lounge. (I drank apple juice but it was very delicious.) -Take toilet paper in the room toilet It is a bit disappointing that the rattling sound reverberates in the bedroom. ・ There is a fireplace beside the lobby and it looks like an Instagram. [General] The hotel itself was very beautiful and the service was good. I would definitely stay here when I went over the water.

It is a large inn. It was snowing when we arrived. It was my first time to come to Minakami Onsen during snow, and I didn't know it was so deep. There was a fire burning in the fireplace at the back of the impressive and very spacious lobby area. There are four areas (buildings) in the hotel, A, B, C, and D. I stayed in Building D. It was a spacious room with a renovated 10 tatami mat room and a wide veranda with no steps. The windows in the room were double-glazed, and the TV in the room was large. There were two card keys, which was convenient. The room sweets were hot spring manju. There are three large baths. First, we went to the garden bath, which is a swapping system for men and women. There is a large large bath and a large, horizontal rock bath garden bath. From here, we really enjoyed the snow-viewing bath. The pond in the garden was covered in ice, and wild birds sometimes came to the garden where snow was falling. The next morning, we went to the large bath in Building D. There was also a large open-air bath here, but it was fenced, so the open-air bath in the garden was better. Both baths have spacious washrooms and changing rooms with amenities. We had a buffet plan for both dinner and breakfast. The buffet area was spacious, but it was quite crowded even though it was a weekday. For dinner, we ate in the relatively quiet Don area to the left of the restaurant entrance. The buffet had a wide variety of items. The sushi that you choose and have them make for you and the beef steak were delicious. Breakfast was even more crowded. It was a weekday before spring break, but there seemed to be many people there because they were on a graduation trip. The buffet had a wide variety of items, so I thought it would be a good place for a family trip or a three-generation trip. This time, I didn't have high expectations because it was a buffet-style inn, but the wonderful snow-viewing bath and the clean interior were nice. There were also many non-Japanese staff members, but they had studied hospitality and provided good customer service.

Ultra modern hotel. Each room has beautiful river and mountain views. Very clean everywhere. Private hot spring bath on balcony is wonderful. Dinner and breakfast were fantastic. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Maybe the best standard sized room of any hotel I've visited. We have visited a number of onsen hotels around Japan and this one was our favorite; both for the room and the meals. The problem here is that the beautiful small shops on the quaint street are almost all closed; and not for the season. I know business will pick up in the winter when skiers from nearby Tokyo come here but it is too bad that the shops have failed. Something needs to be done to bring more traffic and create things to do outside the hotel. The river in September is low so no rafting or kayaking. If you like to hike there are many trails in the surrounding areas.

It can be said that it is a very satisfying hotel experience. You can give 151 points out of 150 points. First of all, talk about transportation. When I took the railroad to reach Minakami, I went to Japan to buy a traffic card, and I could n’t contact the hotel. So I went to the sightseeing case opposite the station and asked where to call. The staff inside helped me directly to the hotel for them to pick up. Then inside the hotel, I ordered the room with an open-air bathtub. The space for living alone is very large. I can go to the hot spring whenever I want. Dinner and breakfast are included in the accommodation fee, it can be said that the price is very high. And dinner and breakfast are very rich, guaranteed to be three pounds out. If it is the hot spring in the collective bathroom, it is recommended to go after dinner, because the room is just next to the collective bathroom, so I heard it very clearly. Everyone concentrated on going in the afternoon. Basically, it was a private booking at 9-10pm. But of course there are criticisms and derogations, that is, the sound insulation is a bit inadequate. Of course, the speech in the next room cannot be regarded as the hotel's fault. But overall I am very satisfied with this stay. Highly recommended to go to this small town to experience slow life.

This hot spring resort is a beautiful facility located on large, gorgeous grounds, less than two hours from Tokyo station. The Tanigawa mountain range mid-November offered a wonderful backdrop to our suite of three rooms including our private outdoor bath. We spent two days walking the grounds, enjoying the wonderful cuisine, taking numerous dips in our bath as well as experiencing dips in the the two larger communal baths. The service was impeccable, the refrigerator refilled regularly, and late night snacks delivered to our room both evenings. The facility is large but there are only about 16 suites so it feels very quiet and tranquil. Whether you are visiting Japan for the first time or are a frequent visitor to onsen resorts, you should consider staying at Bettei Senjuan. We think it is special.

The mid-sized inn is moderately priced and good value. Nice hot spring onsen with an indoor and outdoor bath. It was snowing and a long dip in the outside bath was a special treat. Dinner and breakfast were served at the dining area in a private room. The dinner was a fabulous kaiseki style course with much of the menu from local vegetables, mushrooms and fresh water fish. There was a small museum just behind the ryokan with modern art and Korean antique porcelain, and an eclectic collection of several other paintings. The museum's owner is from the small mountain village and the owner of the famous 'Tenichi' tempura chain. A enjoyable museum worth the visit while going on a walk. The service was very good and appears the two main managers were husband/wife ensuring you feel welcomed and looked after. As we were getting ready to check out a gentleman from the ryokan was already out in the cold and snow, removing snow from our car windows.

I stayed here in April 2022 on the occasion of the expansion of Kenminwari. As the name of the inn suggests, the sound of the murmuring of the river never ceases. The hot springs are colorless and transparent, glittering and slippery. It is said that there are plenty of hot spring sources, and the spouts of all baths are drinkable. There is a large communal bath for men and women in the main building and a separate mixed bathing open-air bath, which is not connected to the bath in the main building. The hot water is completely transparent, so the hurdle for mixed bathing is high. However, there are separate dressing rooms for men and women, and bath clothes are available at the shop. Dinner is a kaiseki meal with lean beef steak grilled on a stone slab as the main dish. Mr. Nakai is a foreigner, but he does his best to explain the dishes. I bow my head like a hard worker in a foreign land. Inari sushi is prepared in the room for a late-night snack, but this is a grown-up taste mixed with wasabi stems. For breakfast, if you go at the exact time of your reservation, the dashimaki* will still be warm. There was a great attention to detail. There are many cherry blossoms planted in the garden of this inn, but this time it was a really elegant timing when the cherry blossoms in full bloom were blown by the wind and turned into a cherry blossom storm.

There was a coffee service (tea, cold water) in the lobby, and I used it three times while sitting on a comfortable sofa. The room was 8 tatami mats, long and not large, but comfortable. Two keys and two yukatas. There is no open-air bath in the bath. The inner hot water was not a net door or a wind, so this hot time was steamy and hot. On the way, the cooler cooled his head at the dressing room where the cooler was scrambled. Other guests also said hohoho. I thought it would be good to pass the wind with a net door or a ventilation fan only in summer. The next morning, the hot water was good because there was an open-air bath. Dinner was a large venue meal. This time it was not roast, so I was able to eat slowly. The brewery was made of kawafugu (catfish), cherry blossoms, silver light (high-class nijimas that can only be tasted in Gunma), and cherry blossom rice was made of cherry blossoms, and the local chicken, pig, and cow were made of sukiyaki of the rice, and it was unique and delicious. I usually eat rice as I pass, but it is great that it is just a amount in my stomach even though the number of items is large. Also, the cold sake of sake of sake (300 CC 1200 yen) was delicious and perfect for cooking. The breakfast was also satisfactory at the same venue. The staff at the restaurant is also very good customer service.

Excellent
GGuest UserI used to stay in the main building, but this time the cheap main building is not available, so I stayed in the annex. Is the main building enough considering the cost performance with an emphasis on hot springs? In the annex, it will be a room meal, but there are many aspects that it is easier to eat at a restaurant where you can order early ... The essential hot springs are Longevity Hoshi no Yu, and there is no complaint at the foot of Hoshi no Yu! The two places in the back of Hoshi no Yu, which have no hanging water from the top, are a little warm in winter, but I think you should choose the place as you like because you can soak it for a long time. The Tamaki no Yu, which was disappointed when I visited last time, did not enter this time. (Because the chlorine odor is strong in the circulation, the impression of other hot water is halved.) There are some hot comments about mixed bathing, but many men feel uncomfortable when women come in. (Because the current situation is that it is virtually a male bath under the name of mixed bathing) Hoshi-no-Yu, which has four bathtubs, also enters by looking at other customers, temperature, and places where it is springing out, so it is a woman's changing room. I have to turn my face toward the direction I think there are tough things, but my wife has been lamenting since last time because there is only women-only time from 20:00 to 22:00 here. The atmosphere of the room and the goodness of the hot water are urinary, and it will be a high accommodation fee there alone, but it is true that the food is a little disappointing considering the accommodation fee of more than 20,000 yen. (I think it's a little unsatisfactory for young people who don't drink alcohol and just eat.) Personally, since we emphasize hot springs, there are some downsides, but it will still be a perfect score.

GGuest UserI wanted to go to the hot springs during consecutive holidays, so I went to the nearby Sarugakyo Onsen. I liked the polite response from the reservation stage. We were picked up from Kamimokogen Station according to the time of arrival of the Shinkansen. On the way, we will also stop by Gokan Station. I was grateful that the fixed-route bus that seems to go to the hot spring without pick-up was crowded. I heard in advance that I will guide you as soon as the room is ready even before the check-in time, but as soon as I checked in, I was asked to prepare the room. The inn itself seemed to have been a welfare inn for companies in the past, and I was surprised at the size of this price range of 58 square meters. The ceiling of the room was low, but it was renewed and clean. Amenities are also available. 2 Mineral water, tea confectionery and tea bags in a liter of PET bottle were prepared. There are also 2 large communal baths, so I could use them without being crowded for the number of rooms. 1 The large communal bath on the floor was a little cold, probably because it was large. The meal was buffet style and all-you-can-drink. I think the menu was a content that both adults and children could enjoy. The sushi, tempura and steak in the live kitchen at dinner were good. It was nice to be able to drink sake, shochu, beer, wine, whiskey, etc. as much as you want. The breakfast buffet was also full of Japanese and Western styles, so I enjoyed it. The facilities in the building were devised so that I could enjoy them, and at check-in, I had coffee and tea and other drinks on my own. There were 100 yen coffee, shops and table tennis, game corners, karaoke, beauty treatment salons, etc. that can be purchased other than check-in time. In addition, there was a cut-out show at night, and I felt the goodness of ”good old hot spring inn”. The interior of the lobby was also chic and nice. From the point of view of Shinkansen users, I think this price is reasonable including transportation. There was a reasonable hospitality that incorporated the goodness of the hotel and inn, and I liked it. It is an inn that can be reached in 2 time from Tokyo. I would like to repeat it if I have the opportunity.

BBenjaminBenFeel like home is an ancient ryokan hotel. But the inside looks clean and modern, the owner takes good care of it like a relative. There is a large public bath separate men and women. The room itself is spacious, not uncomfortable. If coming again, I will book here again. Recommended
