At first we weren’t sure about this property but we received a warm welcome and parked the car. Parking is to the side of the building and easy to negotiate. The room was great. Much larger than expected with a desk, table and chairs, a sofa and comfortable bed. Plenty of room to move about and the bathroom was a reasonable size too. Amenities included a microwave, toaster and kettle which are always welcome when you have been traveling for a bit. There is a supermarket close by if you need supplies. On arrival we thought the area might be a little noisy with a main road out front but this was not the case. WiFi was good and the room itself, well cleaned. Thank you to our host for the recommendation of the Gateway Tavern for dinner. The food was good. All in all a pleasant stay and great value for money.

Another amazing stay at Sandors! We love how it’s within walking distance to the cinema, supermarket and Working Man’s Club! Great breakfast included and the friendliest of staff. Cya again very soon!!!

Stayed for one night and the only reason I would not stay again is because of the traffic noise. This is a budget hotel and you get what you pay for, it maybe old and outdated but the room was very clean and we noted that the pool even though not being used was spotless not a leaf to be seen. It says a lot about a place how the grounds are cared for. The place can do nothing about the traffic noise and it is the main highway after all, a lot of trucks. If that does not bother you this place will do for the night. We left a book in our room which they called us about, very good of them as I know some places would not bother.

We normally stay just out of Mildura at Buronga caravan park but on this occasion it was closed owing to previous flooding. So we decided to stay at the Central Motel right in the heart of Mildura and we are glad that we did. The rooms were spotlessly clean and quiet you could not hear the traffic in the main street. The Motel is very close to the RSL & Working Mans Club, a short stroll across the road for a lovely meal. The Motel location is fantastic as you could walk to the main shopping precinct easily. The swimming pool is spotless as are the surrounds, a credit to the new owners. The new owners can not do enough for you, they are absolutely fantastic. A special mention to Kylie who has worked here for over 15 years, we had a lovely chat which is not very common nowadays as everyone just gets on with their work and all you get is a hello, not with Kylie she is down to earth and a pleasure to chat with. Nice park so much to do, staff very polite. We had a caravan ensuite site was a bit crowded but also a bit disappointed in it as it is like a triangle to get into but difficult as there are vans all around and small area. Ensuite could do with an update, but I did like the idea of the number coded boom gates. It was so nice the way all staff from front desk to grounds to cleaning all spoke to you and were all so lovely and polite. Received multiple texts informing you of what was happening, bands ect also to remind adults to be with children in pool area, just little things.
