Very kind and efficient staff in a metropolitan city with a great market close by. Vending machines to include sandwiches , treats, and coffee were in the large eating area with a beautiful outdoor garden and sitting area also just adjacent to the dining hall. Nice to see people of all ages from all over the world getting along. Also, there is one step machine exercise equipment.

It is a youth male hostel with four-person bunk beds. Slippers, toothpaste and toothbrush are not provided, so you need to bring your own. The bed is 0.8 meters wide, which is quite narrow. It is 5.4 kilometers away from Linate Airport, which is quite far. It is just ok to stay there.

Mio Hostel was rather basic and a little old fashioned, I'd say the design hasn't changed since the 1990s, but the people there are honest and hardworking and it was very convenient for me to be in the Lambrate area, so I'd definitely recommend it especially since it's affordable.
