Everything about East Island was perfect. We stayed at one of the cottages and is was excellent. Extremely clean, comfortable beds. Great location with easy access to Newport. Would definitely stay agsin

East Island Reserve Hotel is a beautiful, relaxing retreat just minutes from Newport. It offers the perfect balance. It is close enough to enjoy all the attractions, yet far enough to provide a peaceful escape from the crowds. The rooms are clean, thoughtfully designed, and always comfortable, which is why I find myself returning again and again.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Perfect Coastal Getaway! We stayed in one of the cottages at East Island Reserve in Middletown and absolutely loved it! The space was spotless, modern, and beautifully designed — felt like our own private retreat. The full kitchen and cozy living area made it easy to relax, and the private deck was a great bonus for morning coffee. The location is ideal — just minutes from Newport but tucked away enough to enjoy peace and quiet. We also enjoyed the pool area and appreciated the easy self-check-in process. Highly recommend if you're looking for a relaxing, comfortable stay near the beach and all that Aquidneck Island has to offer.

Great place right outside of Newport. The cottage gave my family and I privacy and room to hang around in between excursions downtown. It also had a nice clean pool that helped to keep my 5 year old son entertained on a hot June weekend.

We stayed in a cottage for a weekend away and the hotel stay was a highlight of the visit. A beautiful property with fantastic amenities. You have plenty of privacy and much of the property is self sufficient enough that you may not ever see the front desk. Some minor design flaws, the glass shower door opens directly into the toilet preventing it from opening fully, and the drain was slow. Not all the drawers in the kitchen will open unless you open other things (have to open the stove to get into some drawers, another cabinet door hits a light). None of these things affected our stay negatively and will not affect us coming again.

We stayed here for three nights for a short getaway. The house was perfect and much better than staying in a hotel for the bedroom being upstairs and having a half bathroom downstairs. The drive to downtown is super quick. It was nice and quiet and we'd definitely stay again.

Everything was wonderful.
An added plus, you're within walking distance to the Newport Winery.
You might need to ask for extra towels if you're like me and use one for your head. There were 2 of us and only 2 towels.
