Relax with ocean breezes
Paradise Cottage is a 15 minute walk to pristine Satchuest Beach, and a short drive to everything that Newport has to offer.
This completely freshened farm setting Paradise Avenue home will keep you extremely comfortable in the downtime while exploring Aquidneck Island.
The home spaciously sleeps 6 adults and 2 children (for 8 overnight guests total). The interior is comfortably decorated with quality furniture and linens. All 6 beds are very comfortable allowing for great rest. The house maitains a very quiet and tranquil feel throughout the day and into the nights.
The kitchen is fully equipped with Gas range, cooking accouterments and quality appliances updated in 2022.
The grounds and outdoor area are beutifully kept and will allow for enjoyable early evening summer dining. There are multiple outdoor areas to utilize including a Teak dining table with 8 chairs, a wicker full sectional couch, lounger chairs, hot tub and spa, and an outdoor shower. The yard wraps all the way around the house and is fenced and walled for little ones to explore with mom and dad close by.
Our cleaning team meticulously prepares the house between each guest and we take great pride in maintaining and readying the house for our guests.

THE NEIGHBORHOOD
The Paradise Valley area is one of Middletown’s most appreciated and desirable neighborhoods.
It is very important to us that our guests enjoy their time - but also that they treat the property and neighbors with great respect.
Most of the neighbors have resided on Paradise Ave for generations and Paradise avenue is a Beloved street in Middletown.
We need our guests to feel the same gratitude as we do to use the home and to respect the Middletown Ordinances and Short Term Rental rules that are printed and on display at the home.
Being loud outside at night is frowned upon. We seek not to have partiers at our Home - but instead - to have appreciative people who are looking for a quiet and tranquil space that they can enjoy with close friends and family.
Never can we have more than 3 cars on the property. Never can we have more than 6 adults or 8 guests total. Never can we have guests disrespectful at any time or excessively loud outside after 9 pm. These rules are established by the town.

Security, Surveillance, and Smart Devices
Rarely do we have issues on the property where guest bring too many cars and/or too many poeple. Becuase of the few-and-far-between instances when this has happened, we unfortunatly were put in the postion where we had to take more action.
As a consequence in our second season on 8/11/2023 we did install 3 security cameras on the property.
- Camera 1 - faces the parking pad so that we can monitor how many cars are on the property since its is a code violation when more than 3 cars are there.
- Camera 2 - faces the driveway entrance so we can monitor the possible other parking spots that folks may try to utilize.
- Camera 3 - is a nest door bell on the back door.
We only monitor these devices when there is an issue. If any guest is uncomfortable with these devices or their locations please contact me before booking and staying so we can disucss. Unfortunately we cannot accpet cancelation exceptions for reasons related to these security features.
This disclosure is in accordance with VRBOs surveillance rules and regulations.
Additionally, We NEVER use any video or sound recording devices inside the home.
We DO have the ability to monitor and control:
- the thermostat for heat and air conditioning
- locking and unlocking the door
- Turning exterior lights on and off or according to schedule
- Testing and troubleshooting internet / wifi connections when there are issues using 3rd party local licnesed IT company.
