Middlesex County Hotels with Gym

As a hotel under the Marriott flag, I expected better. The pool was out of service, the elevator clunked like a car with a flat tire as it slooooooooooly made its way up to my 4th floor room. One of my two keys wouldn't work. The toilet sometimes wouldn't flush without opening it to fiddle with the float. The air conditioner is a window unit that smells like mold. The interior was crowded and outdated, though it seemed to be clean. The breakfast was disjointed and not very good. One day there were soggy sausage patties, soggy biscuits, and pre-fab looking eggs. We laughed that there was syrup but nothing to put it on. The next day's breakfast was quiche that was still a little runny in the middle, pancakes (finally something to use the syrup on) and more of those plastic-looking eggs. The staff was courteous, and they were helpful when we had a bit of an unusual need. Remember how at most hotels the drapes are doubled, one very sheer layer, and one layer to darken the room? Not here. They look like they would be that way, but in reality only the sheer layer closes. The outer black-out layer was just decoration, not on a track, couldn't be closed. So.... don't stand by the window changing. There was road noise coming from the highway behind the hotel. So between the curtains that won't close and the road noise, don't plan on sleeping into rush hour. I was pleased that there was already an iron and ironing board in the room, so I wouldn't have to ask for one. And I was glad there was a fridge for leftovers. There is no room service, but there's a 99 restaurant next door. The nearest convenience store closes at 10. I didn't have trouble with the hot water, but others in our travel group commented that it was finicky. Was it terrible? No. But was it up to the Marriott standards? Hardly. I'm surprised they still operate under the Marriott flag. They would be more appropriately associated with a budget hotel brand. Overbooking: One person travelling in our group discovered the hotel had overbooked, and they had to walk him over to some other hotel for one night. This was inconvenient for him for several reasons, one of which is that the second night he still wasn't sure where he would be staying. And although ultimately he did have a room both nights (one of which was at a different hotel), it added some stress to his trip.

It is the nearest hotel to Lowell Downtown. It is quiet near the road. There are no restaurants and supermarkets around. It is suitable for driving. The hotel has special facilities for the elderly and disabled. Suitable for passing through Lowell, short stay, no elevator, luggage needs to be moved by yourself.

In addition to the location is biased to the suburbs, everything else is good. The Chinese are a little troublesome to eat, the restaurant is lively, the Americans drink and chat to watch the oversized TV, of course, if you are not a local tycoon with money, it is not bad to go there to solve the meal. There is McDonald's across the road, and the milkshake is good. At the intersection, turn right and there is a gas station convenience store, there is 7-11 across the intersection. In foreign countries, except in Japan, Southeast Asia, the Chinese stomach is more or less aggrieved. Hotel breakfast, cream coffee fruit oatmeal waffles. Overall very good.

We were added last minute to a family trip. Us being a large group, we recieved great service and Breakfast was really good. The whole family enjoyed. The hotel was able to handle family groups as well as single couples. We enjoyed our stay. Will definitely return.

I enjoyed my stay at the Hilton. Rooms were comfortable and staff was friendly. Shout out to Irem Cengriz for being so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great; the food was fresh and the lounge area was expansive. I would definitely stop by here again!

We really liked the place and it’s close to everything. It's quiet and clean

I have experienced extreme unfortunate circumstances due to homelessness caused by the Unemployment department dropping the ball, making mistakes on my account that did not belong which led to my pay being held for 9 weeks which led to me becoming homeless because I had no money. I had to separate from my 3 year old daughter as I lived in my vehicle for a while and have her with my parents as THATS what’s best for her. As the summer heat really ramped up, living in a vehicle in 90-100 degree weather and having the inside of the car gets to 100-110 degrees or more and there’s not ALWAYS shade to hide under. I ended up having to drown myself in debt, ruin my near perfect credit score And get stuck within the cycle of homelessness…with all this darkness in my life, one thing that brought a little light into my life was my time here. Regardless of it being one of the more average/pricey places, it is so worth it. The staff is awesome, so nice, so helpful and genuine. I’m really, really anxiety ridden and feel severe discomfort about cleanliness so I wipe down every single thing, I bring my own blanket and pillow..I have a whole routine and I can absolutely positively say this has been the upmost clean hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Rooms add adorable, the desk has a bunch of shelves and cubby holes which I love. The closet is large with shelves and a cool pull out drawer thing which is just such a cool little feature. Full kitchen, everything you need..paper towels, pans, utensils, coffee maker with tons of choices. The pool is open!!! First I’ve seen!! Breakfast offered which is still just bagels, English muffins etc. wrapped items but it’s better than absolutely nothing which I did experience at other places so I’ll take it no problem. Housekeeping does HAVE to come in every 7 days which because I am currently basically living here paying mega mega bucks digging myself into debt. So that is kinda frustrating to have to have people in my room cleaning all around, moving my stuff. Very, very uncomfortable for me especially because my life is in shambles so I’ve been going through every single item I have and organizing all my stuff and putting stuff aside to sell so my room just has stuff all in piles everywhere so that was embarrassing. I hate being betrayed as a dirty person because I’m totally not, I hate to look as if I am but otherwise everything about this place is absolutely amazing, nice and quiet. Pets allowed. It was pushed over out of my way!! Also I wanted to show as many photos as possible to really show the room as much as possible to be as helpful as possible so I apologize for all my stuff everywhere, please excuse the complete shambles my belongings are currently in!! Dont the unique decor of the hotel fool you. Outside the decor of the hotel, the rest is just gabbage, it shouldn't be part of the Hilton branch. I travel into Boston every week on assignment and it so happen that am currently staying in this hotel right now. I always have great experience in all the Hilton hotels I have been staying with except this particular one. I am suppose to be staying here for 4 days, and 3 day into my stay. Last night, as I was relaxing and having a cup of wine, the glass felt off my hand and spill on the bed. I had to use a towel to cover that side of the bed in order to be able to sleep on the bed till in the morning. I got in touch with the front desk at 7am this morning before going to work to let them know that I needed my bed sheet changed due to the spill drink. The lady at the front desk, assured me that it will be changed before I get back. when I got back from work at 3pm and got to my room, the bed sheet is still not changed. I called the front desk, to enquire as to why it wasn't changed. BILL at the front desk answered the phone and told me that, am not staying more than 4 days so, my room cant be clean. If I need towels, it can be send up stairs. I had to let him know again that, I had stopped at the front desk earlier today to let them know why I needed my bed sheet changed. From this point onwards he became condescending and repeat the same thing he said earlier of me not staying more than 4 days, and as I was about to say I will go down stairs to collect the bedsheet, he hang the phone on my ear. I call again to ask what was his reason for hanging up the phone on me, he didn't pick the phone. After that, I went down stairs to talk to him in person, and all he could say is, ”I did not hang up the phone, I thought you hang up, Maybe the phone got disconnected”. what a LAME ASS EXCUSE, for been UNPROFESSIONAL and RUDE! This is the WORST experience I have ever had at a Hilton hotel and will never stay here again. Can't wait to check out

Bottom line: I stayed at this hotel for 5 days. It’s not great but also not terrible. I would stay again if it was only for a couple of days and it was less then $120/night. Some observations: The bed was old and squeaky. It was comfortable enough though. The pillows were of standard comfort for a hotel of this level. The tv cable system was utterly outdated. There was no guide function or even a paper that shows the stations and channel numbers. So you have to flip through channels one by one and changing a channel takes about 5 seconds to load. The decor and furniture was outdated but relatively clean. Some people on here mentioned that you should get a room close to the elevators if you don’t want to walk too much. But there are other entries all around the building that are locked. You need to insert your room keycard to unlock those doors. The problem though was that those outdoor card reader didn’t work about 70% of time. The buses: Apparently this is a very popular hotel for bus drivers. Tour buses are constantly parked all around the parking lot. It didn’t cause any real problems since the parking was so plentiful. However, having the buses constantly idling in the parking lot and coming and going all day long, it sometimes felt like I was staying at a bus station. The hotel is only a couple hundred yards from I-95. This caused some road noise at night. The solution to this problem is to turn on the Constant Fan feature on the AC as a sort of white noise (it’s not on the wall thermostat; rather you have to lift the lid of the actual AC to turn on this feature). The walls are thin. You can hear every time any neighbors flush the toilet, which was not particularly pleasant. The housekeeping was outstanding. It was provided every day, which was a pleasant surprise seeing as many hotels still only provide it every few days. They were very thorough in their cleaning and really did a tremendous job each day.
