Villa Merida

This is an amazing place, like in a Sherezade’ s fairy tale. We as a family had great time there, the service is excellent, both the host and the personnel are very helpful as well as super nice. The pool and the surrounding is enjoyable.

A home away from home. As a passionate traveler and hotel lover, my friends and I know what makes a great place. Villa Merida was truly a *coup de cœur*. From the moment you arrive, it feels like an oasis. The host, Batiste, goes above and beyond to make you feel at home. The location is perfect, the property is spotless (I was impressed by its size), and the staff is friendly yet unobtrusive, giving you the feeling of having the villa to yourself. The rooms are spacious and well-equipped, and there’s a supermarket next door where you can pick up breakfast and prepare it in the guest kitchen. The design and architecture are stunning—modern but with the charm of a Mayan hacienda. During our visit to the Mayan World Museum, we saw elements of Mayan history, like the *ceiba tree* and the *butaque chair*, that were reflected in the villa’s decor. I highly recommend staying at Villa Merida and will definitely return. One tip: Keep your plans flexible—you’ll likely want to stay longer!
