Beautiful boutique hotel, hidden behind the yellow outside facade, is full of surprise. Amazing setting, lovely decor, inviting pool, made to order daily breakfast, a staff ready to accommodate every need/request and location, location, location!! Prior to arrival, the staff provided recommendations for local restaurants and Super Bowl watching which aided us in getting reservations at some of Merida’s best spots. This hotel is a special place that’s hard to leave for the day much less to return home. Book a trip and discover Merida, and choose a special room at El Palacito Secreto for your stay. You can thank me later. 😊

When looking for the perfect place to stay in Merida, look no further than the wonderful El Palacito Secreto. This centrally located hotel is an absolute gem. It lives up to its name, as once inside, you feel like you are in that secret garden, that you’ve just discovered. The beautiful landscaped gardens and pool are beyond expectations and you can feel the luxury and the serenity gives a very peaceful and relaxed atmosphere. The staff are wonderful as was our breakfast. We were sad to leave this wonderful haven in Merida and have plans already to return. El Palacito Secreto is one of the most wonderful places we have ever stayed.

This place was a wonderful place to stay! The decor of Palacito Secreto was amazing and enchanting. The beds were comfortable. The staff was very helpful and we had a late check in and they were on hand to make sure we got into our room. The breakfast we had was delicious! I would definitely recommend!

Pros and cons
Gorgeous small hotel about 1 mile from Centro. Nothing nearby, a long walk to restaurants, shops , etc. excellent staff, great breakfast included, pool too cold to swim in, showers terrible (low water pressure and shower head way too high. I’m 5’4, was about 2 ft above my head so I never could get hair rinsed).

Charming hotel but not the best location
Lovely hotel with excellent staff. Delicious breakfast. Location was a little out of the way. More than a half mile to the major squares, restaurants and shopping. Pretty much nothing in the
immediate area. That said Ubers are very inexpensive if you don’t want to walk.

Posiblemente sea el mejor hotel donde me he ospedado en la vida, 11 o 12 habitaciones, con todo lo servicios inimaginables, con trato familiar y a su vez de 5 estrellas. Es ir a vivir una experiencia increíble, las habitaciones formidables, la verdad una EXPERIENCIA QUE ACONSEJO.
