The staff are superb, friendly and very helpful. The Concierge arranged to pick us up from our AirBNB on the morning of check in, where they had our lift passes ready. The next day I lost my phone, tracked it down to one of the off piste bars, the hotel got one of their drivers to take me back to the bar (and I recovered my phone). The hotel itself is in pretty much the best location possible in Meribel, a few short steps away from the main Chaudanne ski start area. The bar is cozy and friendly (they do an excellent Old Fashioned). Breakfast is served in the attached restaurant, and offered an extensive hot and cold buffet. My room was a ‘standard’ room, while it wasn’t the biggest hotel room I’ve ever stayed in, it was well equipped, stocked with quality ‘Nuxe’ toiletries, and had a large balcony overlooking the main street. The mini bar was included in the price (though sadly lacking wine!). Also worth noting that ‘Le Kaila’ is ‘La Chaudanne’ attached sister (5*) hotel, I am sure Le Kaila has a bit more luxury and probably larger rooms, but it feels like a lot of it rubs off on La Chaudanne (certainly from a service perspective). In summary if you want a great hotel in the right location in Meribel, don’t hesitate to try La Chaudanne.

Ce commentaire s’adresse au bar de l’hôtel La Chaudanne Après une journée de ski un petit moment de détente au bar de cet hôtel 4 étoiles de Meribel village Accueil chaleureux service rapide par des jeunes barmaids. Malheureusement beaucoup d’étrangers je crois que nous étions les seuls français !!

L’hôtel est très confortable et bien situé pour l’accès aussi remontées mécaniques Cependant il n’y a pas de ski room dans l’hôtel. On est obligé de traverser la rue et c’est un magasin de sport Chaudane qui loue le matériel et conserve skis et chaussures Ce magasin est très professionnel et les patrons et employés très sympathiques et dévoués Enfin le restaurant 80 diffuse une musique permanente d’un très haut niveau sonore digne d une boîte de nuit empêchant toute conversation J’ai dû annuler mes 7 réservations de la semaine dernière car c’était intenable avec des enfants de 7 et 6 ans

Uma equipe muito atenciosa e um serviço de concierge que ajudou em todos os momentos, nos fez sentir em casa.
Um café da manhã impecável e serviço de transfer gratuíto para restaurantes da cidade (todos os pontos de Meribel).
Próximo ao ski lift. Loja de locação de ski na frente. O hotel não é um "ski in-ski out", mas a caminhada é bem pequena - não mais que 60 metros
