Family-friendly Hotels in Menghai

This has been such a wonderful stay! The hotel staff were so polite and friendly in every interaction. Dana, one of the receptionists, added me on WeChat at check-in and messaged to ask if there was anything we needed each day of our stay! (My Chinese speaking skills are not great.) The room was very clean and our balcony overlooked the pool. The breakfast buffet offered many options. The hot springs were very relaxing and there were many outdoor pools of varying temperatures, so it did not feel crowded at all. There's a wonderful 'park' about a five minute walk up the hill with a hiking trail that leads to the top of a hill/small mountain and offers a beautiful view. Very peaceful and relaxing. There are a number of hammocks and swings on the way to the viewpoint. There are also other places to walk, nice viewpoints, what looked to be an obstacle course, a pink sand area, and more at the 'park.' We chose to eat our dinners at nearby restaurants - there is one affordable lakefront restaurant about a fifteen minute walk down the hill that we liked a lot. The hotel has several golf carts that depart/arrive from the lobby entrance if you want them to take you to the hot springs or the restaurants area. You can call the hotel and they'll come pick you up as well. Although this hotel is not close to the main Xishuangbanna tourist attractions, it is the perfect place to stay if you're looking for fantastic service, beautiful facilities, and a relaxing trip. I would absolutely stay here again!

Wonderful location, hotel rooms and staff service. Got offered a one way pick up to the hotel in the mountains. Lunch and dinner were not provided. But ample homemade rose cakes and bread with tea/juice were on offer. They also have a coffee bar on the top floor. Dinner and lunch were tasty but a bit on the expensive side. The hotel offers two activities one to the ancient tea tree in the afternoon and a mountain hike in the morning. Other activities include fire pit chats after dinner or tea tasting. The pool is really nice also.

The overall design is still very good, the shape is full of features and can attract attention, but there are also areas that need to be improved. The first point: the battery car is damaged The hotel is one of the hotels in the Mengbala International Resort. It is located in the Love Manor in the area. Tickets are required, and the online car is not allowed to enter the Love Manor ticket office. It is about a 10-minute walk from the ticket office to the hotel lobby, which is still sloped. The battery car pick-up and drop-off on this road is more suitable. It happened that the hotel battery car was damaged, and it was not informed in advance. The experience of dragging a box to climb the slope is not good. The second point: breakfast is made now, time lag The hotel will ask one day in advance when to have breakfast the next day, but the actual situation is to see when people arrive. We waited for 15 minutes in the lobby to finish the meal, and it was still quite cold in the morning. The breakfast is delicious, but it is recommended to communicate in advance next time, there is such a lag time. Others are pretty good, except for the sound insulation problem at night, which is harmless.

We booked a 45 square meter courtyard king bed room at Jizhu Holiday Apartment in Menghai Resort. Since we arrived early and the room was not ready yet, the owner upgraded us to a 60 square meter one bedroom and one living room suite. The owner was very enthusiastic and had a strong sense of service, and it felt like home.

This is one of the loveliest hotels I've ever stayed in! The hotel grounds are gorgeous and the perfect retreat from city life. You can spend the day relaxing by the pool, taking in the views from the terrace, and hiking around the surrounding tea fields. The owners of the hotel are incredible and always there to help out. We completely fell in love with their friendly dog, who even accompanied us on one of our hikes. We also loved the breakfast (noodle soup with fresh local fruit and sweet potatoes served alongside). I just recommend you bring snacks along on your stay, since there are no shops nearby to buy things. This is the perfect place for anyone who wants to recharge their batteries in nature. I'll definitely be back :)

This hotel is behind my house. It has a superior geographical environment and is surrounded by mountains and rivers. It also has a swimming pool. It is the first choice hotel for business guests. What I like most is that the swimming pool has an unparalleled view of the lake and is refreshing...

From Banna all the way to Bohai, I saw that the ratings and evaluations of this platform are good. I don’t sleep well and I’m more picky. So I plan to try to stay for one night and stay for a few more days. I want to go to the surrounding tea mountain and navigate to the car. Parked at the hotel's underground parking space, There are more than ten parking spaces in the hotel, not bad! The elevator is very convenient next to it. We took the elevator to the 10th floor. It feels very good. The flowers opposite the elevator are refreshing. The little girl at the front desk is very warm and kind to say hello to us. I feel the warmth of home. The room we booked is next to the lobby. The room is very new. Clean and tidy, floor-to-ceiling windows are very good! The mattress is very thick, and it is also equipped with latex memory pillows. The linen is clean and soft. I slept too comfortably last night until I woke up naturally today. I drove for more than ten days. I slept the best night last night. I must give the hotel a good review. The price is very high! It is worth recommending to everyone.

This hotel is quite good. Xiaokang's service is really good. He helped us deal with many of our requests. I would like to give a thumbs up. It's a bit far from Banna, but it's still acceptable if you have a car, and the price/performance ratio is quite high. The hotel is clean and well-decorated. Hot water is available when it is turned on. The waiters cleaned up every day after staying for 4 days. All in all, we are very satisfied.

The best part about this hotel was the absolutely spectacular view of the surrounding maintains and valley from the spacious minimalist room and huge terrace; the sunset was among the best I’ve seen in my travels. Another highlight was the food (an extra but reasonable charge) which was plentiful, local, fresh and delicious. Be forewarned that because of the hotel’s isolated location in the mountains (about 1.5 hours from the city), there are no local restaurants or shops, so stock up on any extras/supplies before you arrive (coffee, wine, snacks included). I understand that the owners (who are very hands off) are in the tea business and have a plantation nearby, but unfortunately (perhaps due to the language difference), I wasn’t given any information about this so did not get to experience a tour. One thing that could be improved is the wifi, which was slow but adequate. I ended up extending my stay by 3 nights and spent most of my days reading on the terrace. I would recommend this inn to people looking for a quiet nature getaway.

The hotel environment is very good and has the feeling of Chiang Mai. In particular, the boss's tea is very good, the cooked tea is particularly prominent, the first mouth is very sweet cooked tea is rare. I especially like to drink tea, so I like to come to Banna. I will drink tea with the boss next time. This time I am a little regrettable.
