Recently I had a pleasant business stay at Collection O Melaka Near Dataran Pahlawan (Formerly Ideals Hotel). The hotel’s central location, just a short walk to Dataran Pahlawan and other key attractions, made it very convenient for both work and leisure. My room was clean, comfortable, and equipped with the essentials for a productive trip. Water dispenser and car parking were provided too. Overall, a practical choice for business travellers visiting Melaka.

Stayed one night at this hotel for a business trip — overall, it was just okay. The room was basic but relatively quiet and comfortable. However, cleanliness, particularly in the bathroom, could have been better. The Wi-Fi was quite slow, TV wasn't function, no electric kettle and unlike many other budget hotels, there was no water dispenser provided. If you're simply looking for a budget-friendly place with a very basic setup, this hotel might suit your needs — just manage your expectations.
