因為已經住過酒店有濃烈煙味問題，在梅州已經找了很多間酒店，他們都不能控制客人吸煙，最後找到這間汉庭酒店（東山店），入住房間完全沒有煙味，開了空調一點煙味也沒有，乾淨衛生設備先進，還有自動冲厠的電熱板馬桶，對面有新建商場@東山新天地，大型超市和食肆，交通方便去附近萬達廣場，江北老街。步行18分鐘去到千佛塔，免費體驗，打車亦只需六至七元，晚上江邊散步心曠神怡。晚上還有免費洗衣乾衣服務。早餐位置新型乾淨，座位舒適，食物合適。
愛乾淨家庭，要求冇煙空間必選酒店品牌。
