From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was exceptional. The staff were not only professional but genuinely warm and attentive—nothing ever felt like too much trouble. The chalet lounge was an absolute delight: rustic charm meets modern comfort, with plush seating, a crackling fireplace, and an inviting ambiance that made it hard to leave. Our room was spotless and thoughtfully designed, and the private balcony offered breathtaking panoramic views that changed beautifully with the light throughout the day. A truly memorable stay.

Séjour d'une nuit entre deux journées de ski. Hôtel très calme. Chambre agréable avec une bonne literie. Personnel accueillant. Seul bémol : petit déjeuner trop cher (si l'on mange raisonnablement !)

We truly enjoyed our time at Au Coin du Feu! The family suite was perfectly comfortable for our family with two little kids, the breakfast every morning was wonderful, the walk to town super simple, the staff was lovely, the restaurant at the bar and downstairs were all fantastic. Truly a memorable stay in Megeve made possible by Au Coin du Feu. Thank you!

Erg goed gelegen hotel met geschiedenis. Voor ons ( mijn tienerdochter en ik ) was het restaurant veel te stijfdeftig en duur, maar voor de liefhebbers van haute cuisine, jullie komen aan jullie trekken hier.De maaltijd die we er 1 avond hebben genomen was erg lekker. In de gezellig bar op het gelijkvloers kan je ook een iets bescheidener gerecht bestellen, maar nog steeds prijzig. De suite waar we sliepen was super gezellig met een terrasje dat uitkeek op de bergen. Er is een aparte ruimte voor de skispullen naast de receptie, uitleg over de buurt krijg je ook en in het dorp Megève is een toeristische dienst. De receptie regelde de skipas. De ligging van het hotel is prima. Tussen 2 skiliften in, en als je niet wil stappen kan je met een gratis streekbus meerijden. Rondom Megève zijn erg veel skipistes, je zal de kaart goed kunnen gebruiken… De auto konden we naast het hotel gratis parkeren. En die hebben we tijdens ons verblijf niet meer nodig gehad. Let wel: Megève is gericht op rijken. Het is wel even zoeken naar eetplekjes die te betalen zijn, maar geen nood, ze zijn er :-) Het stadje zelf is super gezellig en op 3 minuten wandelen. Het personeel leek altijd goedgezind. En ook iedereen in Megève was beleefd en behulpzaam: van gondel-bedieners tot de gidsen op de bergen. De totaalprijs was hoog maar paste bij de service en faciliteiten. Au Coin du Feu bezorgde ons een onvergetelijke herinnering.
