First time in the Maldives. The resort is beautiful, a real tropical paradise. Although the weather was a little unsettled during the 10 days we were there, it was still warm at 28 degrees and you could still swim and snorkel off the beaches and jetties. We had a beach villa looking out onto the beach which all have their own personal sun beds. It was blissfully peaceful on our beach. The complimentary excursions for dolphin hunting is well worth doing although not guaranteed to see dolphins. We were lucky and they swam right up to the boat. The sunset cruise is only worth doing on a nice day and, arguably, you can see the same from the beach. The snorkelling trip was one of the highlights as we found and swam among Manta-ray. Only negative feedback I can give would be the cost for some of the upgrades. $250 per couple for the beach BBQ is excessive in my view. If you want to upgrade to a water villa it’s $350 per night. We weren’t tempted at that price. Overall, a lovely resort. The staff were all so friendly, even the gardeners! They couldn’t do enough for you! Would definitely recommend!
