Trou aux Biches Beachcomber Golf Resort & Spa

I've had a wonderful stay at Trou aux Biches beachcomber hotel. The food, the room, the staffs, the experience and service is above imagination. It's like being in paradise while being alive. We were on honeymoon and birthday celebration and from start to finish there has been a continuous upgrade of emotions with non-stop good moments. Check-in has been very smooth with such a warm welcome. We were taken good care with utmost attention as we stepped in till check out by Yeshta. All staffs give attention to details. The restaurant manager Mr Kevin was such a gentleman. I must say he is a man of a kind! I would lay emphasis on the oasis bar which is the heart of the hotel with a team of pure soul and high vibration people. Mr Benito the assistant manager who was so polite, humble and down to earth gave us an amazing experience. Mr Stephan who has been continously there to check over and make us feel very at ease. Mr Oonish, Mr Sudhir, Mr Rajneesh who were there with their amazing service and drinks. And the most profound heart touching experience was with Mrs Sanjana! Beachcomber is not beachcomber without the Oasis bar crew. Mrs Sanjana has been so gentle, warm friendly, positive and one of a kind person. We had a honeymoon experience along with a birthday celebration. The true worth of such a special moment has been added by Mrs Sanjana. With her presence it's a godlike experience. I salute the beachcomber team from driver, security officer, front desk, general manager restaurant manager housekeeping and all other staffs who contributed to make this moment an outstanding life experience. Trou Aux biches Beachcomber according to my experience deserves a title of best hotel with vibrant joyful and amazing people. I thank the team and the management for all their efforts to keep such a high level of hospitality. i highly recommend anyone to atleast experience a stay at beachcomber for such an above hospitality experience. It was our first visit to Mauritius and based on our wonderful stay it won’t be our last. We had an amazing time. The hotel/resort was beautiful. Our room super clean, spacious, comfortable and in a great spot. We loved being able to walk out and hit the beach in under a minute - it was very hard to come home. All the staff were welcoming, friendly, helpful and courteous. We loved the food, the buffets exceeded are expectations. The 2 restaurants we chose to eat at delicious too. There was something for everyone. Our daughter attended the brilliant kids club a few times (we were there with grandparents from another country so she was spending lots of time with them) and she loved it. The staff there, especially Oceanne, take great care of the children and put on amazing activities every day. We were gifted a bag, T-shirt and cap for the kids club which Emily was thrilled about. It was lovely to know she was in such great hands. Now to plan our return!

We’ve just returned from a 16 night stay in a Villa at Beachcomber Trou aux Biches. First and foremost, the villa is stunning—far more impressive than the photos on the resort’s website. Ours included two bedrooms, a kitchen, dining area, and living room. Outdoors, we enjoyed a private pool, shower, and bathtub. The three-bedroom villas offer an indoor bathtub, which may be more suitable for families with younger children. We did experience some issues with mosquitoes at the start, which meant we didn’t really use the outdoor bathtub. However, as soon as we mentioned it, the head of butler services, Nobin, was incredibly apologetic and arranged for the villa to be fogged regularly. While I appreciated the quick response and was comfortable as long as the fogging happened while we were out, I would have preferred not to have the mosquito problem in the first place. That said, aside from the initial issue with mosquitoes the villa and service were excellent. Our butler Christine and the head of butler services Nobin made everything very easy. They went out of their way to make our stay extra special, nothing was too much trouble. Christine would arrange restaurant reservations, prepare breakfast in the villa (if we didn’t want to go to the two buffet style restaurants for breakfast) and arranged a chef to come and cook a bbq in our private garden. We had fresh fruit delivered every morning and our fridge stocked with whatever we wanted. Even if we ordered room service, she would have the table laid and decorated to make it special. Christine was just a text message away to arrange whatever we wanted. I need a Christine at home. Each night, we had a reservation at one of the six restaurants arranged for us. On a few occasions, we opted to have a private chef come to the villa for a barbecue instead. Our favorite dining spot was Blue Ginger in the evenings, where the team customized our meals exactly how we liked them. Manoj’s team went above and beyond—always remembering us and our preferences each time we returned. Lunchtimes were spent at La Plage where again the team would prepare whatever we wanted and provided service at a 6 star level. Special mentions to Ravee,Randhir, Pravesh, Prakash, Sachin, Sadeck and Krishna for making our lunches so special. The food at the main buffet was good, but the service left much to be desired. Our teenagers were scolded for not signing for their lunch, despite clearly providing our villa number, wearing all-inclusive wristbands, and patiently waiting over 10 minutes for someone to assist. They were also seated at an uncleared, dirty table. When we dined there ourselves, the staff were, at best, indifferent—it often felt like we were an inconvenience. Service was noticeably slow. Unfortunately, our experience wasn’t unique, as other guests shared similar frustrations with the main buffet service.
