Quel bonheur de prendre le petit déj face à l'océan, plage privée magnifique avec vue sur le Morne. Le buffet du soir excellent ou nous avons pu decouvrir les plats locaux, merci au chef😁 c'était délicieux. Pour finir mention spéciale pour le personnel qui a été très attentionné tout au long de notre séjour. Pour nous le meilleur hôtel du sud ouest.

It’s a good, quiet hotel, it has its own beach, a restaurant with a view of Mount Le Morne, the food is decent, there’s enough breakfast and dinner, there’s parking, the rooms are cleaned regularly, there’s a cat family with 3 kittens living on the premises. booking with a MIR card is no problem, for the money it’s a pretty decent option, if you have a car, the location is very convenient for traveling to the main attractions and tours

If you want to take a break from the hustle and bustle, then this is the place for you. A small and cozy hotel surrounded by greenery. The staff is friendly. Breakfast is ordinary, you won’t go hungry, alcohol and water are paid, order from the menu. Beach towels are available for a fee.
There are no cafes or restaurants near the hotels, no shops, 10 minutes walk from the main road. The location will be convenient if you plan to see the sights of the southern or western part of the island.

Since 2018, we have been vacationing at the Mariposa Hotel. Before this hotel, we lived on Le Morne, Grand Bay, but here the perfect combination of price and quality! Located right on the beach. Had lovely amenities. Great staff. Only complaint would be no ac in kitchen area of unit so it was very hot and humid.

Fidèles clients de la Mariposa depuis 17 ans, nous y allons en janvier. Dès le début nous avons été charmé par cette structure au bord de mer et le splendide jardin conçu et amélioré au fil des ans par le père de la manager et très bien entretenu. Le coin repas, face à la mer, sous un énorme et magnifique arbre procure un moment reposant et enchanteur, les jeux de lumières du soir accentuent cet effet. La structure, même si elle a été agrandie reste familiale. L'année dernière, le 15 janvier 2024, lors du cyclone nous avons été très bien pris en charge avec les repas servis dans les chambres. Le personnel est agréable et prévenant. Nous y retournerons, si la santé le permet, l'année prochaine. Nous ne pouvons que vous conseiller d'aller passer quelques jours dans ce lieu agréable. We love staying at La Mariposa. The location is perfect for us, close to our family, and we love the east coast sunsets. This resort is smaller than some that we have stayed at, which means the service is more personal. This also means that Beach and pool access is easy from any of their rooms. We have enjoyed the sea view rooms, as well as the family rooms with garden/pool view, that also have a small kitchen, great for families.

Séjour très agréable, calme, idéal pour couple. Personnel efficace, équipe d’une très grande gentillesse. Restauration satisfaisante. Chambre très agréable avec vue sur sur Le Morne. Véhicule recommandé pour excursion et pour bouger un peu. Idéalement placé pour tous types activités. Nous avons adoré.
