It's hard to get here without a car, but it's really private and really pretty!!! It was said to have a sea view, but it's a shame that you can't see much of the sea. The sunset seen from the beach bar is beautiful, and the rooms are spacious, so it's expensive!

I have had such a blissful & soulful experience at Lacaz Chamarel. It has a unique touch that fills the body,mind, and soul with peace and serenity. The warmth of the staff there is commendable, and I loved my spiritual retreat ✨️ 💖 I hope to book another retreat in the near future 🙏 ✨️ Takzmaka suite with a garden view is exquisite 😊

A warm welcome to this complex of eco lodges, located near Chamarel, Mauritius. We stayed for 3 nights in the Kaz Standard lodges - both were clean & comfortable, & had everything we needed for our stay. The food in the restaurant was very tasty - 2 nights in a row my son proclaimed it was the best meal he’d ever eaten! Staff were friendly & attentive & nothing was too much trouble. The view from The View Bar was fantastic, looking out over the ocean & islands from high up on the mountainside. Great to grab a sundowner & watch the sunset (sun sets at about 6pm in July as it’s the winter months). Conveniently placed for a number of excursions - 7 colours of the Earth, Chamarel Waterfall, the local Rhumerie, the Valle activity centre (quad bikes, ziplines, etc), La Morne beach (shuttle from the hotel), & more… Would thoroughly recommend Lakaz Chamarel for a stay x

L’accoglienza, la camera , la cena , la colazione, i prodotti per la doccia , la pulizia , i prodotti per la doccia ecc.L’ unica nota negativa era la temperatura dell’acqua della piscina privata , molto bassa . Il parco è molto curato e il tramonto al vieu bar è fantastico.

Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The surroundings beautiful and the food is amazing. Wished I had stayed longer! Would definitely recommend the View bar for sunset and the golf buggies to help you get around were great. Everyone made the stay memorable - thank-you to Joanne

We stayed at Lakaz Chamarel to celebrate our honeymoon. Initially, we felt the Garden and Mountain Suite didn’t quite match our vibe—it had a more classic Mauritian, rustic feel. Upon sharing our feedback, the team was incredibly understanding and graciously upgraded us to the Bulbul Villa with added perks. The Bulbul Villa was exactly what we hoped for—modern, luxurious, and private. With its beautiful design, forest mountain views, and private pool, it truly felt like a slice of Bali in Mauritius. The floating breakfast was a dream and added a magical touch to our stay. Special thanks to the amazing staff, especially Jeremy from the restaurant, for the warm hospitality and service throughout. Our only suggestion for future improvement would be to have a heated pool for that extra level of comfort. Other than that, everything was absolutely perfect and we highly recommend Lakaz Chamarel for a romantic and peaceful getaway.
