My wife and I stayed at Arthur’s Hotel for 2 nights in September after completing a cycling trip in Bavaria. We wanted to do some hiking in the Alps and decided Innsbruck was too big to easily get to hiking locations so with a little more research I came across Arthur’s Hotel. In Maurach. The hotel was perfect. It is located about 200 meters from the Rofanbahn cable car that takes you to the top of the mountain for some serious hiking (150 km of trails). The rooms are spacious and well appointed. We overlooked the Main Street through town with the cable car in the distance. There was very little noise at night as this is a small town with little evening traffic. Breakfast was included in our booking (which I made through the hotel website) and had a good variety of selections. There are several restaurants in town that are in walking distance. We ate at the Italian restaurant next door to the hotel both nights and had no complaints. I would definitely stay here again if in the area.

This pension is very recommendable. The owner of the pension is extremely friendly as all the rest of the staff. All are very attentive. This pension is dogfriendly. The darkness in the rooms is very thick, only a dunning hang. The bathrooms are very ancient, but clean and up to the toilets everything is OK. The toilets should be exchanged once with modern deepwashers. No one likes to look at its ”content” like on a tablet. The guest house says only breakfast, but behind the beautiful (!!!) garden there is a cozy lava where there are afternoon snacks and also drinks. There you can spend hours and look at the garden. We will certainly come back and recommend this pension.

Everything in the apartment was to our complete satisfaction. We particularly liked the proximity to Lake Achensee and the town of Pertisau. We were surprised by the quite pleasant prices in the catering industry.

We have already made winter vacation in this house for the umpteenth time. We like the equipment of the apartments and the optimal location. If possible, we are planning a summer holiday in the Top 4 for June 2023. So... always happy... -)
