And cheap decorations I booked a cheap room. The bathroom is too small and too small. The overhead door is very difficult to use with a cloth across the bed cover. The bed cover should not be a customer. The store sells local products, which leads to poor taste. The dinner set breakfast buffet is very general. It is rougher. The dinner is actually used. Stayed in the Cloud room with a private onsen in the balcony facing an awesome view of the lake. Room was clean and spacious with a generous supply of amenities. Visited the public bath as well but was nothing impressive. Beer and yakult was provided free of charge in the hotel lobby. Note that if you are traveling with young children, they change an extra ¥2500 per child just for them to be in the room, no extra beds provided and breakfast is a separate charge. Breakfast served was exquisite and in a private dining room which we appreciate. Overall nice experience but just one night is enough as the town is very quiet and the room price is very steep.

However, it is also the reason why I wanted to write a review, but above all, the care of the inn was very good. It may be natural to carry your luggage, but we have a very good care of our family with children. When they warmed up the child's weaning food or we had a dessert for our husband and wife, the child was sick, but at that time, they asked, ”Shall I bring it to my room?” He entertained the food until the end (I don't think it's always a service. I stayed in a room with an open-air bath for refreshment. The open-air bath in the room was a little hot, but I got used to it after taking a bath several times. I wanted to relax, so I changed dinner to a room meal. He was willing to accept the offer on the day.

I stayed at this Dormy hotel in April 2019, and chose it again for a two-night stay because it'd worked out well, and again, I wasn't disappointed. I think I may have even been in the same room! The quarters were plain and compact, and with no view to speak of, but well-designed and equipped, especially for working on the laptop - great desk space, easily accessible power sockets and good wi-fi. I loved having the amplifier, something most hotels don't include. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom had a mini tv (and welcoming duck), with a larger one in the bedroom. The complimentary inclusions were appreciated - for example, ramen in the evenings, bath salts (bonus), and peach jelly in the fridge. The reasonably-priced breakfast was good, and featured perfect tempura! The hotel is near the JR station and a 10 minute walk to Lake Shinji, 15-20 to the castle. Staff were efficient with tasks such as forwarding luggage. Overall, excellent value!
