Very nice and clean hotel (masseria) few minutes out of Matera. Different kind of room, Safe parking and swimming pool make it complete for perfect holiday. Courtesy at the reception ; excellent breakfast. It worrh the price

Very nice location outside the center, in the industrial area
Very clean environments and very kind staff
The rooms are very nice but the TV is a little small and, at least in our room, needs to be reversed with the mirror, there are no sockets near the bedside tables but the dimmable lamp is fantastic. Bathroom with superlative shower but no hook for towels.
The only negative note was the very limited breakfast

Ho soggiornato due notti in questa masseria comoda per raggiungere Matera. La zona non è bellissima, ma una volta varcato il cancello si entra in un mondo a parte. Le camere sono belle, il bagno funzionale. Abbiamo apprezzato il parcheggio interno. La colazione è molto ricca di dolci, ottime le torte; si suggerisce di integrare il salato anche in considerazione dei numerosi turisti stranieri. Lo consiglio

Nel bagno mancano portaspazzolini da denti. Mancano ganci per appendere panni e teli da bagno. L'arredamento della camera e' buono. Per la colazione vedremo... Buona la djslocazione. Il cenyro si raghiunge in poco tempo. La piscina e' molto carina ed adatta anche a bambini

Mi trovavo a Matera per un viaggio di lavoro e cercavo una struttura comoda e con un ristorante dove poter mangiar bene. Mi hanno consigliato questa bella masseria all’ingresso di Matera con camere dotate di tutti i comfort, piscina e parcheggio. Il personale è cortese e attento a tutte le esigenze. Buona anche la colazione, ricca di dolci fatti in casa. Nella struttura è presente un ristorante a gestione esterna dove è possibile gustare tutte le prelibatezze della cucina locale. È stata una bella scoperta e ci tornerò sicuramente anche per le vacanze con la famiglia perché avendo una bambina piccola le strutture ai sassi sarebbero sicuramente più scomode per la gestione dei bagagli.

Our stay at Masseria Santa Lucia was okay. The accommodation itself is very nice. We booked the Deluxe Suite and were amazed by how nicely newly decorated it was, with high ceilings, lovely bathroom with luxurious shower and comfortable bed. The swimming pool looks equally stunning with modern beach chairs. However, that experience got overshadowed a bit by the unfriendly welcome. The lady who welcomed us was clearly not in the mood to give her guests a warm welcome. That’s a pity for the quite high price we paid. The rest of the staff was nicer, yet not to the level of other accommodations we booked for our Italian trip and where we paid much less. Furthermore, I asked two times in advance via the booking platform how I could book the guided Matera tour they mention in their services, but didn’t got any response, although they contacted me via the same way for check-in. The breakfast is served in the patio, which is a nice spot, yet very warm the moment we were there (mid August), making us feel very sweaty already from the breakfast on. Last but not least, the hotel is situated somewhat in the middle of an industrial area, which doesn’t add to a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Luckily we had a car, making it quite easy to visit Matera, otherwise a taxi would be needed, I think, since we didn’t see any dining options in the hotel itself.

Struttura davvero magnifica (anche se in orribile zona industriale) ristrutturazione di pregio, arredi e dettagli di gusto. L’ambiente raffinato farebbe pensare ad un livello di servizi adeguato e invece il bar della piscina è sprovvisto di tutto (tra l’altro la piscina è aperta ad ospiti esterni giornalieri) e la colazione è piuttosto scarsa anche se di qualità. C’è un’unica persona alla reception, affabile ma molto indaffarata. Personalmente mi è dispiaciuto non godere del tutto di tanta bellezza, spero vivamente in un miglioramento per poterci soggiornare di nuovo
