In conclusion, I was unable to stay. No one came to check in, and my phone was out of service, both on my cell phone and at the office. An old man nearby tried to help, but I couldn't get in touch with him, and he didn't reply to my message from Google. I waited for two hours, but I couldn't get in touch with him, so I canceled the reservation and arranged for another accommodation to be available on the spot. When I canceled the reservation through the app, I was contacted again, asking why I had canceled.

Piazza Mulino is well located close to the center of Matera within easy walking distance of the Sassi. It is a simple place, very clean, and comfortable. Great value for money.

Worst experience in staying in independent accommodation. Left in the rain for 1 hour. Tried 18 calls not answered A very unpleasant man turned up and yelled at us in Italian. We felt very intimidated. When we went out we believe someone entered the room and turned off all lights and heating.
Nice room but it’s in an apartment not a hotel like pictures make you believe. Next morning 1/2 hour before check out we returned back and the angry man was waiting for us. Yelling about lights left on. This was a small bathroom light we’d missed when we went for a walk. He virtually threw us out of the hotel. Standing in front of the bedroom window making us very uncomfortable. Very very unpleasant stay.

La struttura si trova una stabile moderno, la posizione è eccellente , comoda e facile da raggiungere in macchina. A 2 minuti a piedi dal centro della cittadina storica, dai sassi, si può raggiungere tutto in pochissimo tempo, servizi di ogni genere nella piazza. La possibilità di parcheggiare la macchina in un box privato condiviso, all’interno di un parcheggio privato, comodissimo per chi arriva in auto . Purtroppo però le stanze, seppur grandi e luminose, non sono ben tenute, accozzaglie di stili nell’arredo, la pulizia lascia un bel po’ a desiderare, la rubinetteria del bagno rotta e da sistemare, ed i proprietari o gestori della struttura non del tutto chiari. Lo consiglio per la posizione eccellente ed il parcheggio. Il resto da migliorare

L’hôtesse n’étais pas présente à notre arrivée. Le parking payant 20€ mais le box est à partage avec une autre personne ( donc il faut déplacer ça voiture au grès de l’autre occupant ). Nous avons étais enfermer dehors car c’est une porte de chambre à code et l’hôtesse a changée le code pendant notre séjour s’en nous prévenir. Malgré tout le lieu se situe à 2 pas de la place centrale et une machine à café est à disposition dans la chambre.
