One of the best places to stay in Matera. Great service with parking. Restaurant Regina Corte is a must do. Dinner was excellent and the view is amazing. Location: the best! Rooms are a good size and beautiful decorated in modern style.

The location of the hotel is just next to the James Bond movie scene and facing the valley. The room is spacious and with excellent amenities. Staff are responsive and extremely helpful

Matera is truly a magical place and Sant Angelo is the best hotel to stay in and explore the city. It very unique and has a stunning rooms with delicious breakfast and superb staff.

Interesting cave room, nice decor but not very practical. The bathroom in my room had no shower so they've changed me to another room. Great service from the hotel staff but the driver that take the guests from the hotel to the parking doesn't speak any english and was extremely rude.

This is a beautiful hotel! Service was excellent. We dined both evenings in the hotel restaurant, which has a terrace with absolutely stunning views. The dinner both nights was divine…Michelin star quality. The service at the restaurant was amazing as well…we watched the talented maitre d’ handle some difficult customer situations with grace and aplomb, very impressive. A must-visit if you are in Matera!
