Ayurvie Weligama - Ayurvedic Retreat by Thema Collection

I was at the resort Ayurvie on an Ayurvedic retreat with a group of great people through Lenka Agency. The entire staff was amazing.Everyone took wonderful care of us. Special thanks go to the masseuses and the doctor Koshalie. The hands of a masseur are miraculous. My body, thank you to everyone who took care of me. The rooms were always clean. There is amazing peace and harmony throughout the resort. Your mind and body will relax here.

I stayed four days with my yoga group. We were 11 people and we all were very impressed how everything was organised with lots of details that made our stay very cozy, warm and peaceful. The resort and its surroundings are amazing with spectacular views to the sea. Everything was clean, the food was so delicious and healthy, the swimming pool was awesome. All the staff take care of us in a lovingly way during our stay and were very generous. The yoga teacher was very attentive with all the students. The Ayurveda doctors very involved with all and very experienced. The Ayurveda therapists were very committed with us and we felt how the treatments and therapies we received were done with lot of care and love. For sure I will come back again. Ayubowan.

All the time was very special and it was a really fulfilling stay. All the staff who passed by were kind, and my heart became more and more calm and gentle, it was fun to meet everyone, and made my stay even more colorful. Thank you so much! I want to go again.

My whole experience from start to finish has been absolutely amazing ! On arrival I was greeted by Dimutha with a smiling face and fruit cocktail followed by a foot massage straight away after a long flight from the UK. My room was very clean , light and spacious overlooking the infinity pool and the beach. Hearing the waves of the sea every day was like a meditation so straight away I started to feel at one with the energy of Sri Lanka . My consultation the next day with Dr Isura was to discuss my physical, mental and emotional concerns . He fulfilled all of these things with my programme in a warm, kind and empathic manner and took everything into consideration of my needs . The treatments were every day for fourteen days with the most wonderful compassionate therapist Sriyani who I connected with straight away . She is a top class therapist who works on a very deep level covering all my concerns . I can honestly say she is the best therapist I have ever come across and works so hard as she radiates love and healing from her heart . All the therapists were always smiling as it’s such a happy place to be . Every day at 6.30am I went to a yoga class with Emil who is a highly qualified teacher . All of his classes and meditation classes were very composed and healing overlooking the stunning views of the bay . I learnt a lot from him about yoga and his breathing techniques. I also want to mention the wonderful food prepared every day by the chefs and for the waiters for their excellent service as nothing was too much trouble . Also credit to their manager Nipun . There were many choices of food and always varied as my dosha is Vata. The teas are wonderful so I have bought some back home . I didn’t miss coffee after 3 days which I was surprised about and also of course there is no alcohol . All the staff were excellent so my whole experience has made me feel calm , lighter , brighter and healed . I was the only English person at the hotel but everyone was happy so I just felt the vibe so it didn’t matter as I so needed to detach anyway from the pace of life . I have bought back some of the Sri Lankan happiness and love and I hope that I can keep in this positive bubble to continue healing in the pace of life that we all live in. I will definitely be coming back again to re-balance and recharge and have peace of mind .

We had 5 days Ayurveda retreat at Ayurvie Weligama and we definitly love this place, the services, and the kindness of the staff. We enjoyed the treatments and the good food personalized for us. We were a group of 13 people and everything was perfect for us.
