Hunas Falls Hotel

A truly beautiful place — perfect for a honeymoon! The surroundings are stunning, the food is absolutely delicious, and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The service was exceptional from start to finish. We had such a memorable experience and definitely hope to visit again. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a romantic and relaxing getaway.

We recently stayed at Hunas Falls, and it was such a peaceful and refreshing escape. The property is absolutely beautiful the gardens are well looked after, and the views are nothing short of spectacular. It’s one of those places where you can just sit and take in the scenery for hours. Our room was spacious and cozy, with a lovely view that made waking up each morning feel extra special. We went on one of the hikes during our stay, and it was honestly a highlight. The surroundings are stunning, and the trail itself was a great experience peaceful, scenic, and well worth it. Food wise, there’s room for improvement. It wasn’t bad, and the pricing is reasonable, but the flavors could definitely be better. Hopefully something that gets fine tuned over time. A big shoutout to Sachith, who was incredibly helpful and friendly throughout our stay. He really went out of his way to assist us, and it’s that kind of service that makes a place memorable. the road leading to the hotel is narrow, and the last kilometer is quite rough, with a lot of potholes. It’s manageable, but better to go in a vehicle with good ground clearance to avoid any trouble, especially if it’s been raining All in all, Hunas Falls is a special spot if you’re looking to slow down and reconnect with nature.

We had a lovely spacious room with a view. Three of us stayed but it wasn’t claustrophobic. Staff were very kind and helpful. Pool is average. The best feature is the short trek to the top of Hunas Falls. We had a great time! Definitely coming back once again. Peaceful and relaxing.

Hunnas Falls Hotel recently became one of my top 10 best hotels to be when I need a rest. This is ideal for someone who’s looking to truly rest. Away from busy life, away from stress, this piece of heaven is one of the greatest harmonies of nature and luxury. The welcome was so special with the special Aarathi — we felt truly honoured. The welcome drink was also so unique and delicious. We stayed in a garden view room and the view was to die for. The room was spacious, clean, and modern while preserving the history. You have to mind that this is an old hotel so some things will show the age. But, it has its own character. Everything was provided in the room: tea, coffee, mini fridge, hair dryer, and toiletries. Food was good, but I felt some of the items were frozen rather than freshly made. Nonetheless, it was delicious. Dhananjaya made all of our meals feel extra special. He’s so professional, warm-hearted, and knows how to make someone feel truly special. Dinner was candle-lit over looking the lake and I will never forget that night. I hope the hotel feeds those little kitties and doggies who roam around the hotel premises — they add extra life to the already alive natural atmosphere. In the morning, we took a stroll around the lake and I highly recommend doing that, because it’s something magical. We also checked out their library, which was very interesting. All and all, this was a remarkable visit and we will definitely come back. The staff did a marvellous job keeping everything clean and organised. Nilmini, Dananjaya, and Dilusha helped us from the moment we arrived, and we thank you for that. See you soon!

Hunas Falls is in a lovely location. Beautiful view. Ideal climate / weather conditions. Staff members are very friendly and provided a wonderful service. The food is great. Rooms are wonderful and well lit. Ideal property for nature lovers. The Upper Hunas Waterfall is located on the hotel premises. It's a 10-minute hike to the waterfall. Different types of birds are in plenty throughout the day. Recommended

It was an excellent hideaway and fantastic location. Super friendly staff and excellent service. If you need a personalize service this is the place. Thanks to GM all F&B managers and specially the hostess DISNA. Always staff go extra mile ahead and make our stay wonderful.
