Whereas this hotel may once have been a grand affair, at the moment it is completely rundown.
Management clearly recognises this and renovations are in full swing. As a consequence the whole building is vibrating with jackhammer sounds during the whole day.
Staff was friendly and helpful but they can’t help with this.
The hotel should not accept bookings during this phase.

Comfortable accommodation for those outside Johor.. nearby, many facilities such as places to eat, DIY, speedmart, Petron gas station and others... It is the place of choice for me and my family when visiting this hotel.. Most importantly, the price is reasonable...

Worst experience. Just a weekend getaway. At that time, I ordered a standard room and got an upgraded room because the original one was full. That was good. Unfortunately, it was the middle of the night when I was about to go to bed. Suddenly, housekeeping pressed the bell once and then rushed into my bedroom. There was no knock or greeting at all. Then, I argued with her saying that the room that had been checked out was not my room. It was on the wrong floor. But, I still didn't want to give in and apologized. Finally, I had to call reception. In conclusion, the Amansari staff, please hire foreign workers who can at least read the room number. And teach the workers manners or procedures to clean the room. It's a bit too much to disturb the privacy of the occupants. That's lucky I'm traveling alone, what if I bring my family?
