The room was clean, although basic. The room was not ready on time and the front desk staff seemed stressed out. When we went to the pool the door locked behind us and we had to call the restaurant staff to get us back into the hotel. The staff were polite and tried hard.

This hotel is recommended by French customers. Although it is a bit old, it is still good overall. I will stay a few more days in Marseille next time. The surrounding attractions are also good choices.

J’ai passé une nuit à la Villa M à Marseille, et malheureusement, l’expérience a été loin du niveau attendu pour un hôtel 4 étoiles. À l’arrivée, aucun voiturier, et un accueil très froid et expéditif. La première chambre était sans climatisation, avec une odeur d’égouts dans la salle de bain, de la moisissure sur la porte de la douche (qui ne fermait pas), bref, une chambre visiblement mal entretenue. Après avoir demandé à changer, on nous a attribué une seconde chambre, une vue dégagée mais pas exceptionnelle. Malheureusement, elle s’est révélée bruyante, avec de la poussière présente et des traces de doigts sur les vitres, ce qui reflète un manque évident de soin dans le ménage. Le petit déjeuner proposait un choix limité, basique et industriel. En guise de geste commercial, le parking nous a été offert, ce que nous avons apprécié, même si cela ne compense pas les nombreuses déceptions. En résumé, une expérience très décevante, loin des standards d’un 4 étoiles, tant sur le plan de l’accueil que de l’hygiène et du service. Je ne recommande pas cet établissement.
