We stayed at the Hotel Ligo by HappyCulture in Marseille for a week. Unfortunately, the stay did not meet our expectations.
Check-in was initially friendly, with one lady in particular being very nice and helpful. However, I was negatively struck by another receptionist – a woman with long, blonde, curly hair – who seemed very arrogant and rude. She didn't even greet us or even smile – that's an absolute no-no for a hotel.
The cleanliness also left a lot to be desired. On the very first day, we had to report to reception that the balcony was extremely dirty. In the following days, the floor in the room was apparently not cleaned thoroughly either – there were dust flakes everywhere, which is unacceptable.
The breakfast was very meager. For me, fresh vegetables like tomatoes and cucumbers are a must – unfortunately, they weren't available. I ended up buying them myself at the supermarket and bringing them with me for breakfast every morning.
The hotel's only advantage is its central location – it's a short walk to the harbor and all major transport links.
Unfortunately, I wouldn't book this hotel again.
