Grand Cettia Hotel

So as a my experience, it was the best hotel so far. The reason of way it was so good, it was entertainment team and rest of the staff. We actually loved all of them, they are so kind and trying to help u on anyway possible. We would comeback for sure, kids loved Potter.

I didn’t really know what to expect when I came here, but it turned out to be one of the best holidays I’ve had in a while. The whole place just has a good feel to it – friendly staff, clean rooms, nice food, and a relaxed atmosphere. You can switch off completely or join in with everything that’s going on, and that balance is perfect. The entertainment team are what makes the hotel stand out. From the moment you walk by the pool in the morning, there’s something happening – darts, aqua gym, water polo, football. I joined a few games and even when I wasn’t playing it was fun to watch. The evening shows were always worth staying for too, with something different every night. The team clearly put a lot of effort in, and it showed. Harry has to be mentioned because he really made an impression. He’s everywhere at once, full of energy, and manages to get people involved without making it awkward. He made the games more fun, kept the crowd laughing, and somehow remembered everyone. You can tell he enjoys what he does, and that makes such a difference. Overall, the holiday was brilliant. There was always something to do, but you never felt pressured. The hotel runs smoothly, the entertainment keeps things lively, and I came away with great memories. I’d definitely come back again without hesitation.

we was here family of 5, we loved the every minute of holiday especially because of the entertainment team. All the boys were awesome, Dennis, John, Harry, Potter. they treated us like family, we will comeback for sure for them.

I have mixed feelings about this stay. To start with the good, I mentioned my daughters birthday was happening during our stay and the hotel went all out, the provided a birthday cake, balloons and an announcement plus huge sparkler all free of charge. They made my daughter feel really celebrated which was so kind. The waitstaff are all amazing, they work so hard and are always so welcoming. Reception staff are also lovely and so helpful. Food can be very hit and miss, some nights were brilliant, great choice and quality. Always something available even for picky eaters. The bad: meal time is like a feeding frenzies! No organisation at all if you go down for 7:30 when dinner starts. It’s pure chaos, and due to other guests not adhering to good hygiene and physically touching food then putting it back, two of us ended up with a nasty tummy bug. Breakfast is the same everyday, very underwhelming. Not very pleasant after a few days of the same options. Lunch is usually the best in my opinion, great food and varied options. The rooms are fine for just sleeping in. The beds are rock hard though so fair warning. Rooms are cleaned daily unless you specify otherwise and towels and beds are changed. Getting a sun bed is like the hunger games! People get up at 7am to claim them with towels then some don’t even use them ,It’s ridiculous. Another huge negative is people trying to sell you services CONSTANTLY even in the hotel! Spa employees, hair stylists to name a couple. The shop on site is ridiculously over priced. There are shops just down from the hotel with much cheaper rates. Overall we enjoyed our stay, there are elements that we didn’t we didn’t like but the same can be said anywhere. I strongly recommend taking cash any denominations (pound, euro, Lyra are all accepted this will ensure you can’t be scammed using card payments unlike us! Lesson learned. There is a free shuttle bus to Tiki beach which is fantastic. Food and drink prices are reasonable but it can be a very long day for little ones (10-4) it’s a pebble beach. sun-beds are included. Definitely worth it! Most of the issues we had were with the volume of guests. The chaos around meals and pool beds stem from the how many people are staying to be fair to the hotel. The entertainment is also good it’s just on very late which isn’t great for families with young kids. lots of alcoholic drinks are at an additional cost. There are some cocktails on the all inclusive menus but it’s not a vast list by any means. Local beers and spirits are available to all inclusive guests.
