Club Ako Apartments

Memhet was spot on from arriving in the early hours and he met my request for a ground floor room immediately upon arrival, for apartments the building is very tastefully decorated, Apartments nice and clean but no toaster or microwave if you are looking to cook for yourself, there’s a kettle and two ring hob and fridge , tv although small and a Bose media unit. Pool area is nice and the bar is close, food is absolutely lovely lots of choice and a great chef, the omelette could do with a few chips or nice side salad for the price and ask for a bigger glass if drinking spirits as once the ice and spirit go in your paying for half a bottle of mixer that goes in your next drink and charged again on your next drink, plenty of crisps and ice creams for sale too. Friendly staff impeccable cleaners and over all an excellent experience, they have a taxi on call with very reasonable prices and an all round good service . From me this place is a 5 out of 5

The is the second time we have stayed here and I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Marmaris, what amazing, friendly staff they have, we have loved every second, we can’t thank you enough, I don’t want to go home, your service is outstanding, we really don’t want to go home, thank you to everyone who has made our holiday

This is a typical Turkish apartments but we would not return the room was okay until you stepped out onto the balcony and then what a let down my photos say it all. The family and bar staff were great couldn't do enough for you however the maids were not at all good we were there for 14 nights the floors were only mopped twice and we had to ask for the bedding changing and this wasn't done until the 11th day. AVOID ROOM 108 AT ALL COSTS this room has all the cleaning equipment in the corridor outside the door the maids are very noisy in the morning there is also an industrial washing machine outside on the back wall that was used all day and all night it is very loud and when it is done it starts to make a loud beeping noise and believe me no one is in a rush to turn it off we complained 3 times about the noise from it. Also in the bathroom there is a boxing which has a vent in it but also has the drain from the rooms above so every time someone runs any water or flushes the toilet you can hear it in the apartment needles to say we were woken up through the night a lot. We did ask to move but were told there were no other apartments available and when one was we could move rooms, However no room did become available but we didn't know why when people are leaving every day. We spoke to another couple and they had managed to move room and had been charged 4000 lira to do so (£90) Missing this place so much (NOT)

I've now been to here 2 times the last one was for a month, I would not stay anywhere else in marmaris it's a lovely family run apartments , all the staff are really friendly and helpful there more like family to us now the apartment are lovely and clean and plenty of space definitely recommended if your going to marmaris I'll definitely be back next year if not before thank you for our lovely stay

Hotel was lovely staff were amazing and really helpful, it was set back in old town, so had a bit of a walk to bars and seafront, bar prices were bad paying £5 for a bottle of effes,and nearly £10 for cocktails, this was a self cater holiday but you are not alliwed to bring own food or drink round pool, also facilities were shocking, two ring hob for cooking, no microwave or toaster so limited to what you could cook.
