We had a fantastic 5 days in Needles Lodge. I'm so happy that we chose this place, cant imagine a better one. They arranged all our safari activities upon our request. You will be also amazed by the food, wine selection also the friendly atmosphere:)It was such an amazing experience. Thank you for hosting us. Hopefully see you again and soon!!!

Our visits to the Kruger over many years has always found us staying in the park and self driving. On this trip we decided to leave the planning and catering to someone else. We honestly couldn’t have been happier with this decision. Denis and his staff couldn’t have been more welcoming or kinder. They went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable, well watered and well fed. The guides were very knowledgeable and made our daily drives very rewarding. The accommodation was extremely exactly what we had hoped for. All our best to a great team, Tony and Fiona

We’ve had the most wonderful stay at Needles Lodge in Marloth Park. Denis, Lyn, Philip and the team made us feel welcome from the beginning. We didn’t manage to book a game drive beforehand, but thanks to the team we got our very own driver John who loved to drive us through the Kruger Park. We would love to come back and enjoy the kindness of everyone of the team of Needles Lodge!

Tijdens onze reis door Afrika hebben we het geluk gehad te mogen logeren in Needles Lodge. Philip en Denis hebben, samen met het personeel, een fantastisch verblijf. De ligging is super en de uitstraling van ons verblijf was amazing!! We hebben een leuke avond gehad waarbij we aan het diner zaten met de overige bezoekers, supergezellig en met interessante verhalen. Het eten en de wijn was heerlijk. Kortom een aanrader. Deze heren geven een gastvrij gevoel en maken het verblijf top!!

I mean the giraffes strolling up the driveway on our way in was a pretty spectacular start to the trip! The lodge was even more amazing than I hoped for. My room was beautiful and clean and fresh. All of the staff were friendly and welcoming. Every day was an absolute joy. We were literally surrounded by breathtaking nature while we ate, did yoga, swam and relaxed in a picturesque lodge. Special thanks to Denis, Lyn and Phil but everyone was wonderful. Phil made the best gin & tonics ever. Everyone enjoyed the food and there was plenty of it. Denis and Lyn took us on a tour of surrounding natural parks with time for souvenir shopping too. Also we enjoyed several full day game drives, night safaris and early morning walks in Kruger. I would absolutely highly recommend Needles lodge and I hope to come back again in the not too distant future.

Daar we vorig jaar al 3 dagen in Needles Lodge logeerden en we er zo tevreden over waren. Konden we het niet laten om dit jaar terug te keren maar nu voor 6 overnachtingen. Nog altijd een uitstekend en warm onthaal. Een echte aanrader! Goede uitvalbasis om het Kruger Park te bezoeken. prachtige en nette kamers. Eten is uitstekend.

Great lodge near Kruger. Comfortable, quiet and clean. Wonderful food too. Friendly staff. We had a marvelous time. And a special thank you to Glen who was our game drive guide. Tremendous experience. Lots of fun. Five stars all around!

We had the best time at Needles! The lodge is a small paradise in Marloth Park, Denis, Lyn and Phil go out of their ways to make you feel comfortable and explain everything that surrounds you…every animal, insect, noise has a story! The lodge is clean, the food exceptional and they catered to our dietary requirements perfectly. Absolutely recommended!
