Die ganze Anlage mit den separaten Häuschen ist sehr schön angelegt. Das Essen war top, es gab am zweiten Abend ein Braii (Grillen) das war super gut. Frühstück war gut. Gar nicht gefallen hat uns aber dass es keine Klimaanlage in der Anlage gab. Bei uns waren über 40 Grad und keine Klimaanlage. Geht gar nicht, auch wegen der Malaria-Gefahr die ja bei kühlen Zimmern deutlich geringer ist. Der Ventilator war hier nicht hilfreich. Bei unserem zweiten Zimmer war auch das Insektennetz am Fenster nicht dicht und die Moskitos waren zuhauf in diesem Zimmer und ließen sich durch den Ventilator überhaupt nicht abschrecken. Personal war sehr freundlich und immer hilfsbereit. Der Pool war leider nicht sehr gepflegt und es gab am Pool keine Schattenplätze. Bis auf die Sache mit der Klimaanlage und dem Pool jedoch ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt.

Our stay at Maqueda Lodge was incredible. The lodge was beautiful and clean. The food was delicious and generous. We saw so many animals with our guide on Safari in Kruger. The location is great, we were able to walk around the block and spot giraffe and zebra, we especially enjoyed our walks to the lookout to spot animals in the river. Our highlight really was the staff, they were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay special. We didn’t want to leave. Would highly recommend Maqueda Lodge as as a truly special place to stay.

Really an extraordinary experience in Maqueda lodge in Marloth park. Wonderful location and comfortable. Rooms were extremely beautiful. Thanks to James and to all the staff for making our stay excellent great lunches and dinner especially the last evening with barbecue in the bush. Thanks to Evan (not sure if is correct… sorry) our driver in Kruger park. See you soon

This is excellent accommodation. The staff are friendly and efficient. Nothing was too much trouble. We had morning and afternoon safaris and the guide was very knowledgeable and found some great viewing sites. I would stay here again and recommend it to friends and family.

Super schön gelegene Lodge mit tollem Flair .Mitten in der Natur gelegen .Sehr grosszügige und schöne Zimmer.2 kleine und ein grösserer Pool.Sehr schön dekoriert und sehr leckeres Abendessen2tes Abendessen war ein Braii beim Lagerfeuer .Tolle Location beim Frühstück.Super schön eingedeckt ,Eier à la carte,sehr freundliches Personal.Ein Spaziergang mit James hat uns die Tiere sehr nah gebracht.Wir waren mit unserer Gruppe von Chamäleon 2 Tage dort untergebracht und es war ein Traum. Absolut weiterzuempfehlen.

I can highly recommend this lodge and its staff. They are very service minded and possess great knowledge of the wild. Their guided jeep tours in the park run smoothly and take you to where there is the best chance of seeing the big wild animals

Un lodge comme on en rêve, au milieu du bush, en pleine nature, meublé avec un goût exquis, la Zenitude avec un grand z. Et une gentillesse et un sens de l acceuil si forts. Et leur safari avec un guide ruen que pour nous, toute une journée dans le Kruger, inoubliable. Et la table, quelle table! Excellent. Un grand grand merciiiiii. E et MN

The team at the lodge was extremely professional and supportive. I wish I could have stayed longer! The surroundings are spectacular, the food very tasty and exquisit. Is there anything else I would have wished for: NO!
