Hotel Don Pepe Gran Meliá

We had not been for 5 years and couldn’t wait to get back. Everything was just as good, and some small changes made it even better, like the red level sun terrace! Abel & his team are still doing an amazing job. Breakfast team were fantastic. Cleaning was flawless. All the Pool crew were very attentive & friendly. Can’t wait to go back sometime in the future!

Wonderful property staff were fantastic and breakfast included was great. The pool area had plenty of lounges and it never felt like we wouldn’t get one . The hotel was right in a great place so easy to walk to everything thank you don pepe we will be back !

Excellent hotel with very good and visible staff, rooms excellent and the Red Level lounge experience was also excellent and I have been in many such lounges, but Red Level was Par excellence in all aspects. Excellent sea views and the on site restaurants I used were second to none. Already looking forward to my next visit to Don Pepe.

We stayed in a sea view with “Red Level” facilities and had a super stay for 4 nights. The rooms are very good with nice facilities and a balcony looking out to sea. From check in through to departure, the staff were outstanding……Abel, Ruben, Sylvia, Isabel, Flores and Freya just to name a few. The position is great for walks along the seafront and access to bars and restaurants where you can people watch. Personal preference is the walk to Porto Banus. The pool area is clean and very well run and the whole hotel clean and well maintained. Super stay.

We have just returned from a weeks holiday at this wonderful hotel. What made the experience so good? 1 The staff, who were so friendly, helpful and made you feel special. 2 The room which was very clean, comfortable and gave wonderful views from the balcony to the sea. 3 The breakfasts and dinner which were delicious and had such a wide choice 4 The poolside which was very well managed by the staff who were always on hand to bring towels and erect sun umbrellas. Also there were so many sun beds there were always beds available with plenty of space in between. 5 The beach was only minutes away 6 Easy flat walk of 25 minutes along the promenade to the old part of Marbella.

The hotel is fabulous located in Marbella. The beach and Marbella center are minute away from the hotel front. Great food and Wines and excellent staff in every respect. The only downside were the quality of the room. These were very disappointing. A great holiday.

A great hotel all round. Good rooms and clean, parking and open areas for chilling and good pools. Great chilling atmosphere. It's a large hotel which you do not realise at first. Lovely staff. It's away from the noise but close enough to get there within 15 mins.

This was our first time staying at a Melia hotel and it will not be the last. From the moment we arrived the customer service was 5 stars. The customer rep even helped us book bus tickets for when we were leaving to our next city. The grounds are beautiful. This is the place where you want to go to relax. Sit by the pool or walk the extensive boardwalk along the beach. The pool is enormous and has a 5 min walk access to the beach. You are nestled between mountains and the ocean. The breakfast was fantastic with a huge assortment of variety. We also ate at the steakhouse in house and the high standard of service continued here as well. I have never been asked to choose what type of steak knife from what country I would like to use to cut my steak. The desserts were amazing. We did not have one of renovated rooms but it was a nice size, clean and the turn down service was amazing. This was our first city stop in Spain and it spoiled us for the rest of the trip. We should have left it for the last stop. Thank you Melia team for a great stay and we look forward to visiting one day in the future.
