It should be a better five-star hotel in Marbella, but the experience was average and I would not stay there again. The pictures of the Ctrip suite are not consistent with the reality. The reality is that it is an ordinary hotel room with an extra sofa, and the room has a musty smell. Ctrip stated that it would open in 2020. I thought it was a new hotel, but the actual decoration is relatively old. I don’t understand why it was a hotel that opened in 2020. The front desk service does not meet the five-star standard. I completed the formalities in the morning and came to pick up the room card in the afternoon. There was only one person at the front desk, which was very slow and I had to wait for a long time.
The advantage of the hotel is that there are many restaurants. It feels good to eat at night. The location is by the sea and it is very comfortable to walk.

Puente Romano is pure luxury! The service was exceptional from start to finish, with warm and attentive staff. The hotel’s stunning setting, lush gardens, and beachfront location create a serene yet vibrant atmosphere. Our room was spacious and beautifully designed, with a private terrace offering breathtaking views. The dining options are phenomenal—Nobu, Sea Grill, and the breakfast buffet were all outstanding. The pools, spa, and beach access make relaxation effortless. Whether for a romantic escape or a lively getaway, Puente Romano is simply unforgettable. Can’t wait to return!

Wonderful stay, overall from a year ago (when I felt the resort was trading on past glories) it feels like they have really upped their game - terrific services, the whole resort has been updated, the gardens are stunning and the breakfast as great as ever. There are even some new restaurants that don't cost a ludicrous amount of money like some of the existing ones there do. Overall it's a brilliant winter break
