Ich kann nur sagen dass dieses Hotel seine gute Zeit schon sehr lange in der Vergangenheit hatte. Die Zimmer sind alt und unmodern. Die Lage ist schlecht und laut. Es gibt bessere Hotels in Mannheim. Also sollten alle Hotels ausgebucht werden dann können Sie hier schon übernachten es sollte aber auf jeden Fall nicht die erste Wahl sein.

Looks like the list was additionally installed and it only stops on each stair landing = you have to drag your luggage down about 10 stairs. Better than nothing but ..........

Ein gutes Hotel, leider kein Restaurant in unmittelbarer Nähe, aber ansonsten hat das Hotel alles was man braucht um gut zu übernachten. Sauber, gute Matratzen, 2 Kopfkissen zum Auswählen. Was mir besonders gut gefiel, dass eine kleine Lichtleiste anging, wenn man das Bad betrat (nachts toll um sich zurechtzufinden, ohne hellwach zu werden). Die Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption waren äußerst nett und um den Gast bemüht. Super! Hier wird man als Gast noch wertgeschätzt und nicht nur als zahlender Kunde.

Für Geschäftsreise und Stadtbummel geht’s kaum besser. Restaurants, Bars, Shopping innerhalb von ein paar hundert Metern. Absolut sauber, schnelles W-LAN, Parkplatz im Hof (reservieren!) und sehr freundliches Personal. Es müssen nicht immer die teilweise unpersönlichen 5 Sterne sein.

I worked here briefly as a Zimmermädchen over 40 years ago. Coming back as a guest I wasn't quite sure what to expect and was very pleasantly surprised. No longer a poor university student I was able to afford the newly renovated courtyard room - it was excellent - good bathroom, nice and quiet. The family still run the hotel, the breakfast is very generous (much better than the roll and butter of the 70s!). The hotel is close to the Nationaltheater and within easy walking distance of the city centre. We were there just before Christmas - wonderful for the Christmas Market. The staff were very friendly and frankly the level of cleanliness was far better than that which I attained. Very happy to recommend.

Tiny rooms, right on the street, with curtains too small to cover the full window width, and not even in that nice building that they advertise, with very tiny beds and inflexible service at the front desk. I'll never go there again.
