The room was spacious enough for two people and clean. All basic amenities are ready for you, including slippers, hairdryer, toiletries, kettle, and there is a water dispenser machine (hot and cold) on each floor. The location is easy walking distance to the shopping mall and restaurants, convenience stores etc. The staff were friendly and the breakfast is different each day. Rooftop has cool view of the city. Would recommend to stay here.

Despite booking 5 days in advance, we were made to wait for over an hour at the reception, which was frustrating and set the tone for our stay.
The hotel's location is perhaps its only redeeming quality - it's situated right in front of a mall, making it convenient for shopping and dining.
However, the food at the hotel was just okay, nothing impressive. The comfort room had a bad smell that seemed to be coming from the drainage.

I had a great stay at the Sheraton. Super friendly staff, and so incredibly helpful!! Especially Leen and Amil who went above and beyond to assist me when I had issues with my bank, I can’t thank them enough!
Comfortable and relaxing pool as well as a nice exercise room that had a great view.
Only went 4/5 on amenities because here on trip is says they have a spa, but actually they don’t and just recommend outside services.
Overall was a great stay 👍🏼

Go Hotel -Ermita is legit value for money. Though it is categorized as a budget hotel, it exceeds in performance: (1) It uses keycards to swipe for entry at the elevators; (2) Its elevators are amazingly fast & efficient; (3) The rooms are spacious. Well-partitioned spaces; (4) Separate bath & toilet; (5) Change of towels & make up bed, though by request, are being done considerately; (6) Hot & cold water available on both bath & toilet; (7) Robinson’s Mall is a block away; (8) 7 minutes walk to SLEC; (9) Very accessible with plenty of transport options to choose from. Philippine Rabbit Terminal Avenida to the hotel costs Php 170 more or less via Grab; (10) Customer care is of high quality. Staff so polite especially its housekeeping team. Very fast check in. Only there is extra cost for early check in; (11) Plenty of hangers; (12) Presence of fire extinguisher, sprinklers & alarm; (13) Presence of extra chair; (14) Spacious luggage desktops. (15) There is parking space with extra charge; (16) Spacious hallways, lobby, play activities, cushioned seats; (17) Accessible light switches & big desktop in between twin sharing beds
Downsides are: (1) Airconditionjng units must have regular maintenance cleaning; (2) Tiles need extra scrubbing; (3) Accumulation of water in bathroom drain ways

As always staying here is very nice and comfortable but be warned they have airport style security and scanners at the entrance which is super annoying they demand to open and see all your bags inside and belongings even if you're staying here for multiple days they'll do it every time you enter the hotel
Bonus you're very close to two big malls

As a first timer for bed buckers my experience is actually good. In Ola Hostel you’ll meet different people with different nationalities across Europe, Americans and Aussies. They are also travelers going to different parts of the Philippines. I stayed several days in Ola and cleanliness is good l, they do daily cleaning. They offer free light breakfast and a happy hours at night 6-7 PM daily where you can enjoy free cocktails drinks unlimited. Staffs and also gentle. i feel safe to stay in this hostel. Lockers are available as well and you can drop your belongings in the counter for safety.

The room was clean, and its location was ideal, being close to all the areas I wanted to visit.
I'd like to rate their service as more than excellent. The staff were incredibly accommodating, from the entrance guards who genuinely helped us with our luggage to the team that assisted us in booking a Grab car. The guards even kindly told us to wait inside, shielding us from the heat, and offered to call us when the car arrived, asking only for the plate number.
What struck me most was the warm hospitality displayed by all staff members, who consistently greeted us with happy faces. Their simple smiles made my stay truly special and peaceful. ❤️
One suggestion I have for improvement is to provide an iron in each room or make it easily accessible for guests. This would be a convenient addition, especially for travelers who need to iron their clothes.
Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my time at this hotel and appreciate the exceptional service provided by the staff.

AAnonymous UserOur stay at The Manila Hotel was exceptional. The hotel’s historic charm and well-maintained interiors create a unique and welcoming atmosphere. The staff were attentive and courteous, always ready to assist with a smile.
The room was comfortable and clean, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The view of Manila Bay added a special touch. Dining at Café Ilang-Ilang was a highlight, with a variety of well-prepared dishes that catered to different tastes.
The location is also ideal, close to cultural and historical sites, making it convenient for exploring the city. Overall, the Manila Hotel offers a wonderful mix of comfort, history, and excellent service. Highly recommended for a stay in Manila.
GGuest UserWould be best if the walls are sound proof. We can clearly hear what the guests in the other room are talking about. Would be best also if the internet connection will be stable. And lastly, i also suggest that they provide good towels. I think the towels given to us are used many times already
The good things about our stay was that the guard on duty during our stay was very courteous and helpful. We were waiting for our indrive car driver when he asked us about the plate number of the car and then call the guard on duty in front of the hotel to pls look for that car and guide them to our current location. He also showed us the chairs outside where we can sit while waiting.
I also like that they clean the room even though we only stayed for 2 nights. they also replaced/changed our towels, rags, and gave additional supplies of slippers and toiletries. The toilet is also very clean.
The breakfast buffet is also good. A Filipino and Spanish cuisine.
TTrixy20Ok nman yung room at malinis, nagbook aq ng for triple room 3single beds or 1 double and 1 single bed, pero 2 double bed lng and late q nman nbasa n 2beds lng tlga available nila kc it's holiday mraming nkabook during this time, pero khit gnun ngyari sna 3 towels ang nilagay s room kaso pang 2 pax lng tlga and wla extra for the 3rd pax. And other thing to improve po yung buffet breakfast hindi worth it s binayad, ang konti ng choices, at 8am p lng wla ng refill, tapos ngsasabi kmi s mga crew pero prang wla din mgawa kc prang wla n tlga ilalabas, sana next time maimprove
GGuest UserThe hotel is generally good, but the receptionist was quite disappointing. Her name is Cyril. I had booked a Deluxe room with a view of Manila Bay and paid online, so I expected my room to be secured as I have communicated with the hotel multiple times about it and even indicated my request upon booking.
After traveling on a 22-hour flight to the Philippines from another country, I was excited to see my room facing Manila Bay.
While I was busy with my three pieces of luggage talking to the bellman, another lady arrived as a walk-in guest. She went to the reception desk before me and booked a regular room. I overheard Cyril, the receptionist, upgrading this lady's room for free to a Deluxe room with a Manila Bay view.
After Cyril handed the key card to that lady, I approached her and reminded her that I had paid online and booked a Deluxe room facing Manila Bay. To my surprise, she informed me that the last room intended for me had been given to the other lady. She didn’t apologize at all.
Additionally, she overlooked my booking and only gave me a key for one night instead of the two nights I had reserved. Once again, she didn’t apologize. Throughout our interaction, she never smiled, was very unresponsive, and failed to make eye contact with me, which I found quite rude. She didn't offer to assist me or explain the breakfast arrangements or any basic hotel policies.
I felt overwhelmed and cried in my room because I was exhausted from the long journey and felt I had been treated unfairly by Cyril.
I hope the hotel takes the time to address this issue with the receptionist and provides her with proper training in hospitality, or she could become a negative asset for the hotel.
AAnonymous UserIf you’re a history buff, you’ll definitely fall in love with this hotel. Within proximity from Intramuros, National Museum, Museum of the Arts, Malacanang and many other places, you’ll learn so much about how fascinating Manila is. Also, right outside within walking distance is Luneta, Manila Hotel and Ocean Park. Location is perfect. Hotel is definitely a historical building (very old) but it has been maintained very well.
RRowel IsaacI have a booking from Jan 8 to 12 2024. I came around 3am. I couldnt check in because the system says im NO SHOW. I was asked by the Front Desk to wait till 2pm to have my room ready and i have to pay again. The customer service of REDDOORZ handled the issue very well. They checked in me in the system and i was anle to have a room in 15minutes. They reinstated my original booking. Only invalidating the day i didnt arrive. With regards to the room, there is an unusual smell inside. Smells like decaying flesh. Im not sure if it is in the AC or somewhere else like bed corners, sheets, comforter, or probably ceiling.
JJohn Mungcal Sr.Staffs are friendly; one thing notable is the way the receptionist will find ways to make it easy for me to present other means of valid identification as I forgot to bring my original ID; she also mentioned the unavailability of some regular stuff being given to their customers due to holiday staffing limitation and supply deliveries. One of the cheapest but cleanest go-to hotels.
Famous fast food restaurants are just a few meters away, such as Mang Inasal and Jollibee. Other fast foods are plenty, the same with local carinderias, as well as convenience stores and bakeries, which are all a walk away only.
Very near government hospitals, namely Jose Reyes, Fabella, and San Lazaro. Leading banks are also in sight to access ATMs and other monetary needs.
Public transport is readily available esp LRT 1 Tayuman Station is just around the corner only
GGuest UserSlept 8-straight hours which indicates that it was a comfy stay. room is clean. i did not feel bed bug bites nor see insects. Room was equipped with basic amenities that travelers like me would need. Housekeeping followed my request NOT to come in in the middle of my stay. Theres elevator. too.
